Not the best. It is quite crowed on weekends and the swimming not very safe, but a good place to sit under a palm tree.

We walked from Condado to Ocean Park for a wider beach. The water was very rough, so we only walked the surf edge rather than try to get in. The only people in the water had surf/boogie boards to ride the waves. We found a spot where the police were hanging out nearby so we felt safe leaving our things... More

There are numerous hotels nearby, they make a special effort to keep it clean daily and it is a very beautiful spot. There's also excellent restaurants and food joints nearby.

Surf was high. The sand was super clean and the water rough but warm walk down the beach to Pamelas for food- it was great. A beautiful day in the sun.

I stayed at Mont Caribe Guesthouse in Ocean Park and this beach was literally 7 min walk away from us. It was perfect. I liked it because it was a beach that a lot of people who lived in San Juan/ ocean park go to. It's the Caribbean so the waves were mostly gentle but everyday we walk on the... More

We stayed at Hotel Numero Uno in Ocean Park. The beach is well maintained and gets a good dose of sun for most of the day because the buildings in Ocean Park are mostly low-rise buildings. The beach attracts an interesting and diverse group of people that come to play paddle ball, kite board, swim and sun bathe. We walked... More

This beach is easy to get to from most hotels in the area and it's very large. The bad part is that swimming here is not too safe in some months and the sights are mostly buildings. For water sports or more naturally attractive beaches, it's best to visit another place.

We loved this beach for the waves, they are so strong that you can't swim, so just jump in them and let them carry you. I wouldn't leave my kids (age 12 and 8) alone in there though. No food vendors, bring your own.

It was our first time in the Caribbean water and it was so warm and wonderful. This is a great beach to walk along and to play in the water is fun too. We will definitely return to lounge here and watch the clouds go by.
