Beautiful beach for being a "city" beach! This beach is clean, fun, and offers great food places right on the beach. I must goto place in San Juan!

The is a nice beach really close to the city, it's beautiful but to those who want to see amazing beaches I recommend to go to the islands Culebra and Vieques. But Ocean Park Beach it's still a good choice.

Ocean Park Beach is beautiful and a great place to spend the day.The water is not clear but very clean and blue none the less. The rip tide can be quite strong and the waves can be quite large at times. Surfing is good here and can be great some days. Wading is not easy here. If you've ever been... More

Nice beach, nice and safe at night, very romantic, waves can be rough sometimes, not for families or children. Locals love it, we love the locals.

OK, this is the best beach in the city. If you go before 1 or 2 PM, you have it pretty much to yourself (it stretches for around a mile, I'd say, getting narrower the further east you go). There are plenty of palm trees to shade you, some nice waves to play in (it's the Atlantic side), and great... More

Don't miss this beach. It is much less crowded than the Condado area! There are no noisy water sports and no hawkers on the beach!

The beaches are much calmer here, not crowded, sand soft, water clear--loved this beach! Seemed to be popular with tourists and locals...not much food, drink, or showers here--bring coolers!

We stay at Numero Uno Guest House which is on the Ocean Park Beach and it is great. Because it is non touristy, you only get locals and not too many. The beach is not crowded and the surf is not too rough because of a natural breakwater that is several hundred yards out in the ocean. We love it... More

I love Puerto Rico...having traveled all over the Caribbean I find the beaches in Puerto Rico a little disappointing... but this beach is one of my two favorite ones in Puerto Rico...very large sand area...nice water with often good waves coming in...if you like beaches that are deserted, be aware this one is often very busy.
