We stayed across from the beach, and took a pleasant walk to enjoy the waterfront. There is a grassy park in front of the beach area with vendors selling items in a tent ever Sunday. I found a neat straw hat to wear the rest of the trip., Music was playing and the waves were crashing on rocks at the... More

It was a nice beach overall, but the sand could sometimes hurt due to the strong winds, and there was lots of trash. Definitely more of a beach for locals as opposed to a beach for tourists.

We really enjoyed our day at Ocean Park Beach. Our hotel had a free shuttle to a city square which was the entrance to the beach. We took a walk up the beach and decided to rent chairs from Pamela's. Ricky the waiter was very friendly and accommodating. He set up our chairs and an umbrella and provided us with... More

Close to our rental home, love that you are around locals. It is beautiful. Played soccer on the beach with our kids and jumped in the warm waves.

I loved this beach, It was an easy walk from the Dream Inn and it was clean and very beautiful. The ocean is so blue and there were alot of locals doing kite surfing in the water. I could stay there all day!

so it was a great location to stay in Ocean Park and away from all the resort hotels. Less people and buildings was very nice. Great beach!

Our favorite beach that we discovered in biking distance in and around San Juan. There might be better ones, but this one is great. Quiet, palm trees and beautiful surf.

Great public beach located along a nice residential area, off of McLeary Street, within walking distance, 2 blocks from the main streets, which are conveniently located in Ocean Park, right in-between both Condado (west) & Isla Verde (east) touristy areas in San Juan

This beach is great for people watching. The surf can be rough here but the sand is great and if you want a different beach every day (like we do,) this is a good one to add to your list.
