A lot of history, if you catch a mass here where the Archbishop officiates, you will enjoy it a lot. Just have hand fans, its very hot and humid inside.

Wonderful spiritual center and sacred space... Home to many destination wedding ceremonies... 18-19th century architecture is the perfect place for a prayer or moment of reflection during the day... Mass usually at noon... Expect a long sermon..

My husband and I went in to look around the Cathedral and Mass was just starting so we took a seat. It is always neat to experience Mass in a different culture/ language than we are used to -- it makes me realize that our differences are really not that great.

This is an old Catholic Church in the heart of Old San Juan. The reason for the visit is not to see the interior so much as to visit the final resting places of 2 people entombed here. Juan Ponce de Leon and St Piux. As you walk in and head towards the front of the church, stay along the... More

It is a beautiful place worth to pay a visit especially combining with other attractions on Calle Cristo. The inside of the cathedral is really beautiful and is open for public. A few things to read about the history of the place as well.

On the outside its nothing special, but when you walk in, your mind gonna explode with the design on the roof. Its like old art over your head. Btw all the PR weddings are there. Lol

Very interesting, if you like to see/read the history of a particular church. Still operates for mass, but I missed it.

Wife and I was strolling through the city before our cruise. We went inside the church. Absolutely breathtaking. Very reverend. Flowers everywhere placed. The people of PR are very family oriented and close to God.

Stopped into the Cathedral after lunch and was taken back by its beauty. I particularly like the side altar which reflected Puerto Rico. It didn't bother me, but there was no air conditioning. I am not sure how it would be to attend Mass there!
