simply beautiful across from el convento hotel-sometimes if you are lucky you will see a wedding the church bells are fantastic.

I come every year to get my fix and buy new rosary beads. Such a beautiful building. Its located on a side street, so you may miss it.

beautiful place to visit. I like to take pictures of place like this so I really enjoy it. its clean and puerto ricans are really nice.

Love to visit old churches, obviously the Western Hemisphere's are not that old but still interesting! Ponce de Leon is buried here, obviously did not find the fountain of youth! Sorry had to say it! Nice church and still in use today!

Since we were married 47 years ago in this Cathedral, it is always a great feeling to visit. It is in the Viejo San Juan (the old Part of San Juan) and the Cathedral is tranquil and very peaceful.

We recently returned from a visit to Old San Juan. We stayed at Hotel el Convento which is directly across from the cathedral. We happened to be there on a Sunday and decided to go to morning services. What an inspiring experience. It was all in Spanish and we speak English. As the resting place of Ponce de Leon I had to go since his name is all over St.Augustine, my birthplace. Liked the architecture and artwork. We were even there for a wedding (the bride was late)! It gave a whole new sense of realism to this very old Cathedral.
