Entering this beautiful cathedral is so peaceful and calming, it washes away stress and clears the mind. We have visited here twice, but not during a mass, so that we could wander around and leisurely look at everything. The architecture and design is a thing of beauty. The tomb of Juan Ponce de Leon is interesting- and even more so... More

A great place to look around and take a nice quiet break from the day of adventuring. A very nice building in the center of old town.

We attended service at 7:00 pm on a Saturday. the church is beautiful, lots of history. I felt at home and service, in Spanish, was lovely. the church has no a/c so it was very hot but I did not care.

I attended mass on 7-26-14. It was in Spanish. I loved it! Every part of the interior was amazing. This was a very important part of my trip. I love to visit church's and especially old cathedrals.

A beautiful and simple cathedral with a classic pieces of artwork inside. We loved stopping here to reflect for a moment and slow the day down. We also bought beautiful rosary's there.

It's the second other cathedral in the Americas (after the one in Santo Domingo, DR) so if you are in Old San Juan it is worth the trip inside. The structure itself is in great condition and the artwork is fantastic. The highlight of this is the tomb of Ponce de Leon.

This cathedral is enormous and beautiful. A must see if you are visiting Old San Juan and it is free. You can make a donation if you see fit.

I grew up in Florida and Juan Ponce de Leon was a big part of the early history. Go the this cathedral and see his final resting place, along with many examples of early religious art. neat place - you may get that unique chill down your back. I would venture to say there are some old souls still wandering... More

A great view of an old street with trees lining up all the way down to an exit to get to de la Princesca. Lots of shades here. If you walk on the left side, that is a "shopping" street were you can find Coach and a few other brand names outlets. Fun just to walk and relax.
