Nice barrio, beachfront.

Mango's Cafe is a must for lunch or nightlife. Kasalta great for breakfast. Ocean Park is the place to visit for a local beach scene. Look for the boutique hotels in the area.

Our last afternoon in San Juan was spent at Ocean Park, and I wouldn't have had it any other way! The breeze was nice and cooling and it was a 2 minute walk from Andalucía Guest House were we stayed that night. We rented 2 chairs from Pamela's for $6 for the entire day. The Beach waiter from Pamela's was... More

Walked through here on the way from Marriott Stellaris to Ocean Park Cafe. We were recommended a few nice restaurants in the area. The walk down here was not pretty. Sidewalks are narrow, pavement broken , buildings ugly, looks like everything was built in the 1980s or prior. Ugh.

Very disappointed in this beach. No chairs our umbrellas. Great foot locals but not that great for visitors. No amenities. I would go to Luquillo Beach ... About a 30 minute drive from Ocean Park.

This felt more like a 'real neighborhood' than the Condado area nearby. Lots of good restaurant gems, but stick with friends at night!

Very nice long beach. Nice folks all around. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Our family took a cab from the pier in Old Town.

This is the beach to go if you are from San Juan and dont want to take a long drive. Definitely not the most beautiful beach in PR, but is the most crowded and fun in the metropolitan area.

If you have a chance to walk around and look at the homes in this area, if that's your thing, you won't be disappointed. Beach is a little gross because the ocean is so shallow, there's a lot of kelp and ocean stuff washed on the shore, but that's not a big deal. Water is warm. Neighborhood is clean. Lots... More

Off the beaten tourist path Ocean Park is a community of real Puerto Rican islanders. A lived-in community showing its wear and tear of life, it is a great place to stay. The beach is within walking distance, their are some great (and not so great) eateries available, all absent the trappings of getting caught in the usual tourist traps.... More
