Not knowing how popular the Bio Bay tour was, we made the mistake of attempting to book this tour last minute. Normally when I vacation I just show up, find the tour I want, and book it. This time, this strategy almost left me tourless. We called over 12 companies and all were booked up; some for multiple days at... More

From the start this was going down hill. After a confirmation for Friday turned into Saturday, my friends and I had to switch our plans around to accommodate the switch. Unprofessionalism from the female crew member who took reservations who thought we couldn't understand when she said " They still came anyway" and her co-worker had to tell her to... More

Booked with Eco Action Tours for a kayak trip in Bio bay for 16 people age 12-63. We booked a 7 pm tour as opposed to 9pm and when we got there at 6:30 they were not even set up(no kayaks , life vests out, no person to register with ) but the 12- 15 other tour companies were there... More

If you have NO kayaking experience this may not be the tour for you. Group of 20-25 two or three person kayaks with only 2 guides, keep in mind this is a night tour through the mangroves. Don't get me wrong its a once in a lifetime experience BUT without any lesson and very little guidance can be very unsettling.... More

My wife and I took this tour by Kayak and I would recommend the Kayak over the motorized boat. The guides are tremendously versed in the Eco-system to the point that it seemed a Biology Professor was conducting an extremely interesting, engaging lab! Since we were at the Ritz, the ride was rather lengthy however, Amadis Cruz our driver, played... More

Our group left a little later and the truck they had was more low-key, which made it a great small group. The guides were super helpful even offering to row for people who couldn't or didn't want to. Once we were in the lagoon their knowledge about the marine life was spot-on and very entertaining and informative. I would highly... More

This tour was so cool and so much fun. The lagoon was simply beautiful. It was crazy chaotic trying to navigate a crowded channel of mangroves in the pitch black, but for me that made it part of the adventure. It was 2 hours of paddling. Take the boat if that doesn't sound fun. My husband and I were not... More

For those considering doing the Bio Bay Kayak tour, I highly recommend using one of the other tour operations who do not launch via a seaweed patch, go out on time, care about teaching and showing you the luminescent plankton vs ramble as fast as possible, and paddle fast enough to enable you not to keep bumping into each other.... Eco Action Bio bay tour is great, they are very helpful in getting to and from the bay. They bay itself is really a cool site to visit. We took the kids for their first time and they loved it.

Like Rawanoto, we booked last minute, actually 7am in the morning and got into the tour for 10:30am. It was an overall good experience. The tour guide was very nice, knowledgable, and humorous, and the group of people are nice. However, they came to pick us up 30min later than the planned time and we had to spend 1h at... More
