This location has so much potential. However it is in shambles. Garbage literally everywhere, the smell of urine near the tunnel was horrendous. It reminded me of Harlem ny circa 1970's. The area where food kiosks used to be is an abandoned building with graffiti and litter. The whole place looked like it has been overrun by graffiti gangs, drunks... More

If you visit Guajataca, you must enter the tunnel and walk the trail all the way down to the beach for one of the most beautiful views of the island. You must be careful in that area because it is very dangerous to go into the water. There is a designated swimming area next to the tunnel if you decide... More

This beach is beautiful, not for swimming, but great for walking along the edge of the waves. Palm trees, tunnels, and a river that flows into the ocean - great for hiking, truly a gorgeous area. But watch out for thieves. Do not recommend bringing a rental car or any other material valuables to this place as the thieves target... More

This isn't a swimming beach or a kid friendly beach. The waves here are rough but the scenery is beautiful. This is a good place for tanning or just relaxing and taking a walk. Also a romantic place if you go with a loved one. There are many things to do in the Guajataca area near the beach - hiking,... More

This is definitely a surfing beach and not a beach for anyone to snorkel or have some family quality time. This beach is rougher than the other beaches and swimming is not encouraged. You must be a good swimmer to actually do some swimming. However, if you just like rough waves and just having fun, this is a great place... More

dangerous beach... there are plenty of beaches that are just a better option if you wish to have a safe and fun time.

I love this place, I mean, you can beat the view. And if you are a geology aficionado then you will love the rock formations here. A visit to PR isn't complete without going to Guajataca.

Located off of highway 2 near the small town of Quebradillas, Guajataca Beach is situated at the mouth of the Guajataca River where it enters the Atlantic Ocean. Thick sandy beaches are lorded over by rugged cliffs and beautiful mature palms. This is a beautiful place to visit, when the locals aren't target practicing. Once a modest tourist attraction, it...
