Ok, I was told not to come here for vacation, I didn't listen and came. Please don't believe anything about Fajardo. It is a shame that a coastal city does not have anything to enjoy as a family! You'll find yourself confined to the hotel and water tours, nothing else!!! After the second day it gets really boring! Everywhere you... More

Charco frio is a little water hole near fajardo about 15 minutes south and was truly one of the highlights of our trip. It's a little difficult to find and you can hire a guide but it will be alot cheaper if you drive there on our own. It's 10$ to park your car and free to use. I just... More

My family and I had a catamaran snorkeling trip on Barefoot in the beginning of July 2014. We had 2 kids with us (ages 4 and 5). It was the most wonderful experience! The crew was fun, very attentive and professional. We were served lunch, fruit snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and not) during the trip. The ride was extremely... More

My four friends and I spent the day with Tim from Spearfishing Today based in Fajardo PR. The four hour trip was geared to beginners, so no major experience necessary. With Tim's help, we were able to catch our dinner and learn the basics of spear guns and spear fishing. We were broken up into teams of two, sharing a... More

We stayed here a few times over the past few years. It's only about an hour ride from San Juan and there's plenty to do without dealing with the crowds of San Juan.

The tour company called the day prior to confirm reservation and inform us to take Dramamine because they expected rough water......Well we boarded the day of and as expected the waters were rough...they turned around mid way and went back to dock. They offered us a 50% off discount since we were already there if we would continue on to... More

We loved the country but were saddened by the stray dogs and cats, many of whom were starving and obviously neglected. Could Puerto Rico start a program to neuter these large populations of strays? Not only is it sad, but the many feral cats are a threat to bird populations. We donated to the Puerto Rico Animal Welfare Society: PAWS,... More

While in Fajardo PR we hired VIP snorkeling for a day of fun in the sun. Our captain was Cesar, who was very familiar with the local waters & history of Fajardo. He took us to beaches as well as snorkeling sites always keeping us comfortable, providing us with water, sodas, beer or rum drinks, as well as snacks, fruit... More

I went to Puerto Rico the 2nd-3rd week in March, 2014. The excursion I was most looking forward to was snorkeling and kayaking in the bio bay. I booked this 2 months in advance. I was never given an exact address so on the day of the tour, I rented a car and drove to Fajardo from San Juan. After... More
