First I do have to say that the actual Lighthouse was closed for repairs so we did not get to go inside, however the trails and parking area are all open and the roads leading to the parking area have been repaired and were in good shape when we went. The WOW factors come from the views surrounding the lighthouse... More

We drove down from Rincon for a morning photo shoot. It was about an hour drive and we left at 5 am. I am very glad that we had a GPS....the road marking is "interesting". This is not a place I would take young kids. Not a lot to do and the drops on some of the rocks are pretty... More

The views are spectacular, the cliffs are beautiful. There is parking near the lighthouse, and we were able to get a close spot but we have been told that sometimes parking is backed up to the nearby resort. The hike up requires good shoes as it is rocky and uneven but it is very manageable. Once you reach the lighthouse... More

The lighthouse may not look that special, but the cliffs around are extraordinary. We went for a sunset hike around the Los Morrillos Lighthouse on Cabo Rojo, the South-Western tip of Puerto Rico. Drive up the dirt road towards the lighthouse to the parking lot (you may want a vehicle with high clearance), park in the parking lot and walk... More

Lighthouse itself does not have much except a couple of old drawings and a page summary of its history. However, the views upstairs and outside of the lighthouse are spectacular! Definitely a must see. More

Is near to Playa Sucia Beach, one of the best beaches of the Island. Theres no facilities like restrooms or showers. Have to bring some food, drink and a... More
