While the greens were very firm and inconsistent due to random condition issues the course itself offers many challenges for an average golfer. Trees are large and dense if you wander off the fairways. Houses and long ditches also line a few fairways. Enough bunkers to make it interesting. Played nine times over two weeks so unfortunately due to the... More

This was our second week-long visit to this course. This trip was exactly one year after our first. Not much has changed regarding the course. Much work is spent cutting the grass, so that it good, but work is needed on some greens, bunkers, and tee decks. As it was rather dry, the grass was very different from what I... More

It's a good course with some interesting and challenging holes. The course plays like a Lynx course, when it's windy the ball holds up a lot, which adds to the challenge. The greens had a lot of sand on them and was not easy to read. I asked my caddy why there was so much sand and he said it... More

Played course 4 times over 10 days late October. Needs rain! But great layout from the tips. Resort rules, let the caddy prop ball up before you get there! That being said we had same Caddy for all 4 rounds and Billy(Morgan Freeman)was awesome! Good knowledge of course and great teacher. Would like to play when lush!

Our free green fees still cost us $100 each for 9 holes. We had to buy balls, tees, rent clubs and use a mandatory caddie which actually slowed us up.

I have played Runaway Bay 10 times at least. This last time it was hurting due to lack of summer rains. When this course is in good shape, its fun to play.... Make sure to ask for Althia as your caddy, she knows the course and loves to laugh along with you!

the greens were green and that was about it. i have never golfed links golf but i guess this is what it is like. you play a 210 yard par three with a 6 iron because you would get 40 yards rollout. i topped a 3 wood and got 200 yard rollout. i was golfing and drinking some red stripes... More

We played the course only once and that was just last week. We considered playing again but decided the heat was better absorbed at the pool. The course was very dry but nicely laid out . We had a ( required ) caddy which made the day much easier . It took us three hours to complete and would play... More

I rode along on the cart as my husband played. The course was in good condition. The club allowed him to go out as a single, which made for a short play time of approximately three hours. His caddie, Dave, was very friendly and helpful. He even made sure that I was parked in the shade and pointed out good... More
