If you are a fan of bats, you must visit the Green Grotto Caves! You can see many of them there. The cave itself is beautiful. It had been a nightclub once and there are still the bar, the dancefloor and the tables. They also shot a part of a James Bond movie there in the 60s. We got a private... More

Very interesting trip round these caves. It was hot and dusty inside, The guide was informative and fun, and the kid who was with our group was in absolute awe! A wee bit more history of how the runaway slaves found the caves, and how they managed to live in them, before they moved on up into the hills would... More

Loved this little adventure underground. The guides are wonderful, entertaining and knowledgeable. However, this little walk underground must be taken only by people who can walk without problems. There is a steep decline and climb back up. All and all...nice little trip and exercise, plus you get a little history of the island to boot.

Our tour guide was awesome. He told us about the history of the caves & made it interesting & entertaining from start to finish. The kids loved him. It's a huge cave system with loads of history. No need to fear the bats. Many beautiful areas for photo ops. There's no way to explain it. You need to see it... More

We had a wonderful time exploring the caves. Our tour guide really engaged the kids and made it a lot of fun for them. Lots of bats and snakes so if you are scared of either this may not be the trip for you. The punch they serve at the end was not appealing to use but you can purchase... More

Interesting caves. Good for a trip to see a little more that the all inclusive property. Good for kids to visualize what they learn in geography too about stalactites, etc etc etc. Guide was obviously very knowledgable about the history and "legends" of the caves as well.

Before we visited the caves we called customer service from our cruise line to find out if their were bats in the cave. The lady explained that would have been declared. Well the day came around to tour and we got approx 15 minutes into the tour and the tour guide spent quite a lot time flashing lights on the... More

Informative and educational. Great place to visit on rainy beach day, and/or for James Bond buffs. Worth admission and only short cab ride away from Jewel.

Well worth the trip! Great fun exploring the caves and learing the history. It was hard to imagine how scary it must have been for the runaway slaves to hide out there in the pitch dark. A must see when in Jamaica.
