Private - well mantained beach set in a hidden cove where the river meets the ocean. Can't get any more beautiful than this. Note that you do have to pay to enter, but its worth the cost. Bar and restroom area so you are able to eat and hang out for a while. Also you do have to pay for... More

We visited as part of an organized tour and did not have time to fully appreciate the area. It's a bit of a walk in but not allowing in motor vehicles is probably what has helped keep the area fairly pristine. The rainforest vegetation leading up to a beautiful beach is breathtaking. We were served a buffet meal on the... More

Walk down to the beach along a beautiful river that flows into the ocean. The beach is clean and well maintained. A good, reasonably priced menu for lunch is available. I liked being able to rinse off in the pristine river after swimming in the ocean. A clean bath house and restrooms are available for showers and changing. Bring your... More

Wonderful and the kids loved every minute of being there. So much to do. I suggest taking inflatable rings and floating down the river from the gate to the beach.

Definitely spend a day on the beach here. Food and drink prices are reasonable, and it's worth the $8 admission to not get hassled by vendors all day.

You must see Frenchman's Cove! By far one of the best beaches Jamaica has to offer. Order the Lobster from the restaurant on site.

Restaurant isn't the greatest, but it's a nice spot. One drawback is that you have to pay to enter because it's privately owned property. The waves a bit choppy if you plan on doing lots of swimming. The grounds nearby are lush and well kept and the river flowing through out to the sea is cool and clear green. Very... More
