it had been raining and the currents were somewhat dangerous. There was a man that was rushed off to the hospital because he got taken by the currents. We don't know if he survived but after that we were too nervous to get in the water. Beautiful area and nice staff but kind of scary!

Frenchman's Cove is not the biggest beach...but a perfect place to relax on a hangover Jan 1st! It consists in both ocean and river swimming and the food is tasty and the beers are cold. Due to it's $10US entry fee it tended not to be over run with people both times we went there.

Great beachside dining and service. Just choose the spot and the set it up for you and bring you your order. Located where the river meets the sea so you can go from salt water to fresh and back. I wouldn't recommend allowing a small child to swim in the sea without adult supervision though. It tends to be very... More

We spent the day there on the Sunday after Xmas, mainly with locals. Good bodysurfing and nice clear water, a mix of sea and spring.

This little beach is a true paradise. A fresh water stream with crystal clear water welcomes you before finishing in a beautiful cove. The sea can be rough. It is not a big place, maybe 100m wide so it's pretty quickly packed. Get there early if you want to rent a sun bed (2$ each). There is an entrance fee... More

My husband and I had a great time here. We were able to enter in free with a pass from our resort. It was nice and relaxing. Would go again.

The cove is smaller and the sea choppier than I was expecting, but this is a lovely spot where you can jump in the waves, swim in the river and enjoy food and drink on the beach.

the secluded beach was tranquil and pretty although the cafe and the toilets were quite dirty with flies and mosquitoes. The waitress was rude and miserable. The life guard was very friendly and its a nice spot for sunbathing
