I stayed in Port Antonio at the Moon San Villa and decided to visit the Frenchman's Cove. One should take a taxi to get there. The entrance fee is $10 US. You also should pay for a beach chair. The beach is gorgeous, there are all amenities there, a small restaurant as well. There are wild mango threes around the... More

I loved the beach, but I made the mistake of spending the night at one of their "villas". The place was a DUMP! filthy and nasty! From Broken Doors, to dirty floors, mold in the fridge, rusty sink, and droppings/excrement everywhere...AVOID!

Must be in the top ten of the worlds most beautiful beaches so beautiful. Its certainly in mine. Lovely resteraunt serve you fresh fish on the beach. Loads of birds possible to see black billed streamer tailed hummingbird here. Fantastic crystal clear river with rope swings for the kids. Accommodation available villas or rooms. Paradise.

Beautiful, relaxing beach. You are charged to enter, but it is worth the money. The sand is clean, there is room to stretch out a blanket, or find a cozy spot to share. It is not easy to find the entrance, but there is free wifi near the parking lot. The water is crystal clear, allowing snorkeling opportunities. The service on... More

They don't allow sporting activities on the beach, so if you're a soccer, volleyballl, tag team type of person, you'll have to go on the grass, or further uphill. Apart from that, the beach is clean and the service is great

It's one of the most expensive beaches I've visited in Jamaica (in addition to entrance, if you want a chair, it's an extra cost). But naturally beautiful and well maintained. I love the unique nature of the river flowing into the ocean here (and the tree swings). The river's water is very cold, so even the ocean is cold until... More

The water at the Cove was so clear. Being that the river lets out in this area, the water wasn't as salty which was a blessing to my eyes when snorkeling. We took a boat tour around the cove to Blue Hole where the Blue Lagoon was filmed. I marvel at the beauty of this location everytime I look back... More
