We were disappointed to have to pay $10.00 each to see this beach, beautiful yes, but for the price, we found there was garbage on many places and I could not even get a coffee as "it was finished". At least, internet was free and we had a lovely walk in the compound where they rent villas which seem so... More

The road to the beach has no pavements if you are walking so be careful as the cars and trucks go by fast! The beach chairs and WFI is included in the $10 dollar entry price. You can stay all day. One can purchase a lunch on the beach but I was not prepared to pay $12 dollars for rice,... More

This was such a nice beach to visit in Port Antonio with friends. It's a private beach, so you have to pay a fee for entrance. The water is crystal blue, and there are sunbeds you can rent for the day. Also there is a restaurant located on the area, and also free wifi. The wifi is somewhat slow on... More

Picture postcard gorgeous beach. $10 per person entry and $2 per lounger (optional). Simple but nice food from beach restaurant. Nice life guards. Amazing grounds too. Go for the day to make the entrance fee worthwhile. If sea is rough you can still swim in the lovely tropical river.

A real estuary! Each side of the sand is a different temperature. The ocean side is warmer and the fresh water side colder coming from the mountains. The whole place is something from an adventure novel for sure. The glint of the sun on the water, the nuances of every shade of blue and aquamarine known to man. The clarity... More

We were staying in Port Antonio and this was our daily favourite beach. Beautiful white sand, turquoise water (waves can be a bit rough on occasion), and a delightful little stream on the left hand side to paddle in amongst the fishes, all backed by lush rainforest. It's got a real beauty about it. Not much shade though except down... More

My boyfriend and I drove from Ochi and stumbled upon this place. Since my boyfriend is a Jamaican native, we were charged 8JMD which was more than I wanted to pay but went with it. The beach is small but very pretty. There were a few people there but not over crowded. I love that there is a mix of... More

Beautiful setting. Water was perfect. Make sure you have some bug repellent as there are small sand flies which can be a nuisance.

This was the highlight of our trip! Apart from being located on beautiful grounds the cold of the river rushing into the sea was exhilarating! The waves were huge the day we went and everyone had fun jumping into them or riding them to the shore! Watch out for rip tides on the far right though!

Erie ting is NOT arite at Frenchman's Cove! STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOURIST TRAP/MONEY PIT!!! We'd been driving along the coast for quite some time, looking for a nice beach to set down on for a couple of hours, and finally found Frenchman's Cove. From the entrance, everything looked great... well groomed, etc. We spoke to the guy at the... More
