We were on Bloody Bay beach for 7 nights in August at the Couples Negril resort. The water is so clear, calm and not rocky. No need for water shoes. Their were vendors but they did not bother you once you said no. The sand was white and soft. Every once in a while you could see the fish swimming... More

Just returned from Negril Yesterday. Bloody bay has crystal clear water and powdery soft sand. We stayed at the Grand Lido Negril and walked all the way down the beach. There are vendors set up on the far end.

7 mile beach is beautiful, but Bloody Bay was my favorite go to spot. Powder white sand and blue waters. Eat lobsters on the beach. Swim until sunset. Get baked. Heaven.

The water is so blue, incredibly warm and gentle lapping waves come ashore. Okay...the water is the saltiest I've ever been in, but you float like a dream. White sand beaches......gorgeous sunsets. the beach is narrow, but lovely. No high tide to worry about like in the States. Great for snorkling! Glass bottom boat ride is wonderful. Other activities include... More

The best beach I've ever been on, beautiful. Not many people, most seem to go to Montego Bay, so if you want to just relax, this is the place to go. I just got home a week ago, and can't wait to go back! Also great area for snorkeling, some amazing marine life not far off shore, unlike anything I've... More

We stayed at a hotel on Bloody Bay and am so glad we did after spending some time at Seven Mile. The water here is pristine, less haggling on the beach, quiet, and decent snorkeling in areas. Perfect for kayaking and sailing a little catamaran. We saw starfish, a puffer fish, little crabs and other small sea creatures. Absolutely beautiful.

This is a beach for folks who want to relax on vacation. Leave 7 mile for the partiers. We are people who want to unwind and not need a vacation from our vacation. Bloody Bay fits the bill perfectly!!

Avoid the crowds going to Seven Mile and make Bloody Bay your base for your stay, and head to Seven Mile for a day excursion instead. The waters of the bay are very calm and I found the snorkeling is particularly great here. If you are looking truly to escape to the beach, this would be your place.

We have stayed at RIU Tropical Palace 3 times and it is located on Blood Bay. We love that there are trees so you can pull your chair out of the sun. The water is so calm it will lull you to sleep! I love to walk on down and visit the open air local vendors! You can also get... More

We snorkeled, sailed, floated and swam all week long. Crystal clear water, lots of neat fish, star fish and sting-rays. We hired a local boat "Moonstar" who took us fishing and that was a great experience. If you visit the bay and like to fish ask around for junior he will show you how it's done.
