I visit Jamaica frequently and love Half Moon beach. For a few drinks you can spend as much time there as you'd like with no solicitation. The food is just okay and so are the drinks, but it is so nice to relax on the beach in a private setting. You can also snorkle from the beach which is nice,... More

I just stayed there for half a day slept, swam and ate Lobster. Really great place if you want peace and quiet and want to get away from the crowds. A friendly owner and personel and two cool dogs that help you to hang out. If your staying in Negril just catch a normal route taxi thats heading to Lucea... More

You cannot go to Negril without getting out to Half Moon Beach on Green Island. You can either totally chill with a beer or rum & coke, paddle in the shallow bay, snorkel and watch rays (there are loads in the bay) or take a romantic trip on a raft or hire a boat. Its up to you, but you... More

Arrive by boat and be blown away by this utterly beautiful little beach. Our family of four shared the beach with an American couple and the adorable little twin girls that live there. divine lobster lunch proved, truly spectacular day.

This was a great place to relax. The food was delicious cuisine, the staff was friendly. I went on a raft to go snorkeling with a guide, followed by rum punch. A wonderful day.

Beautiful beach, BBQ lobster, a friendly dog which followed me around, a good bar and a stop on the way to snorkel at an excellent reef.

This is our spot to go for snorkeling without the crowds or hagglers you find at 7 mile. It's a more natural setting and the word is getting out about this hideaway. We spent 1/2 a day here chatting with folks who came in on a boat, and others who rode their mopeds (which we are renting next year). There... More

This place is north of 7 mile beach by a few miles. It's nice. The beach is small, and the bay is about 100 yards wide. The restaurant was a bit slow. The snorkeling was OK, but not spectacular. There's some brain and fan coral near the island. My family was perfectly happy here, and we stayed most of the... More
