We've been in Negril twice, and have visited a few times each trip to our favorite beach in the area. It's 15 minutes from downtown Negril, peaceful, tranquil, and you feel like you're hundreds of miles away from the rest of society. This is probably our favorite place near Negril to sit with a cold drink in hand and watch... More

My husband and I went to Sunset at the Palms resort for the first time in 2015. We did the early afternoon excursion by catamaran to Half Moon Bay for a very yummy BBQ Lobster Lunch. After Lunch the Captain of the catamaran took us for a tour around the island and showed us some of the plants and fruit... More

Beach is fun and different from Negrils Beach. You take a boat to Calico Jacks where they have a bar w music and food, nice afternoon. The water was rough going to the island and then it wouldn't start. Like Gilligans Island. All went well in the end.

an acceptional peaceful experience, with the best bbq lobster Captain Nimmo was so well organised he even brought the drinks from the boat to the beach and he and his team looked after us for the duration of our stay. - wonderful.

This place is really nice but is expensive to get to and pay for entrance and if you want to eat or go to Calico Jacks it can get very expensive for a couple of hours.

Lovely shaded cove/beach with beach loungers and a hammock. Restaurant/bar and even a lady available for massages if you wanted one. Go early if you can as it's quieter. We decided to leave around lunchtime as a noisy tourist boat arrived!

We went to half moon beach for a quiet day on the beach and a light lunch before going back to the bustling Seven mile beach in Negril. The experience was, sad to say, totally ruined by loud music from the owners "gift shop" It didn't get better when a local guy started up his own discotheque with his cellphone... More

We did a half day catamaran from our hotel sensatori. The company used was sun caribe. It was ok but not so good if your older. The beach are was littered with rubbish. The food limited to lobster or chicken. With a few bits. Not that good. The captain of our smaller catamaran was a bit off hand with us... More

Lovely spot , quiet until a boat load of chartered tourist from all inclusive places come by to grab a bite of overpriced lobster ( as usual in Jamaica if you are on the beach) while the goobers are there you better hang on to your lounge beach chair since there are not enough of them for everybody! We stayed... More

Was a neat little private beach but kind of a haul from the west end. Food was ok, not bad but definitely had better. Staff at the bar weren't super friendly or outgoing. The owners were there and they were very very nice and interesting.
