My wife and I chartered "Changing Winds" for a morning trip on May 27th. Our Captain, Cortney, picked us up at Sunset at the Palms right on time and took us to the boat. First Mate Jack was already preparing the boat, so it didn't take long to be under way when we got there. Both were very friendly and... more

We just returned from a week in beautiful Negril, Jamaica. We were there with two other couples. All of us are in our late 40s - early 50s. Three of the six are experienced at sport fishing (myself, my husband and one of our male friends) while the rest of us had never fished deep sea before. We thought it... more

Hello fellow fishing lovers, I've just returned from Negril, and truly enjoyed deep sea fishing with Captain Stanley and his 1st mate(his brother), Jason. I am an avid fisherman, and have gone on many deep sea fishing excursions around the world. I also own a couple of tour companies in Japan and in Canada, and have met hundreds of tour... more

I have just returned from a great holiday in Negril and during our stay I took a trip with Stanley's. I left my wife at the hotel since she gets sea sick and joined a group of 6 other people on the boat. Having done some deep sea fishing before (Hawaii, Europe) I kind of knew what to expect i.e... more

We booked a 4 hour trip on Changing Winds--caught 3 dolphin fish! Lots of fun! But there are never guarentees in fishing. We were concerned about rough water but that doesn't seem to be an issue in this area -- at least not in April. Would recommend fishing on Changing Winds--we caught more fish than the larger newer boat! The... more

Stayed at Couples Negril. Fished 2 half-day trips with Capt. Stanley. With 7 people on board the first day & 5 people the second day, I was stunned that of 6 or 7 rods, only one (1) had a bait on it. All the othwers were teasers. On both trips we dragged an old beat up Ballyhoo for 4 hours... more

12/10/07 My first deep sea fishing since I was a child. I reserved online and paid balance w/ travelers checks. No problems. Stanley met me at the resort at promptly 6:45 am. A quick trip to the harbor to join Captn Kortney and first mate Jack on the small boat "Changing Winds". 10 minutes out, a small tuna. A couple... more

I'm an experienced fisherman having taken charters in places like Ontario, Canada, Northern Michigan and the Florida Keys. Captain Stanley ranks at the top of the list. Stanley is friendly, knowlegable and most importantly, safe. He knows what type of fish are around Negril. more
