Situated in the west end of Negril the library is beside a primary school so it's easy to see the children playing. A lot of books and the possibility to go on internet for free for half hour, to print or to photocopy. Make sure that you respect the dress code, if not you cannot enter: no shorts and not... More

A good place to check email or plane reservations, for 1/2 hour, if the dozen terminals aren't occupied by students after school. It's a small library on the West End Road with a lot of books. Loaned to tourists with a $ deposit. They previously requested books but visit and ask what type.

The Negril lighthouse is a great side trip. It sits on the western most tip of the island and has great views. The lighthouse keeper will give you a tour and tell you the history that goes way, way back. Hard to believe how advanced the lighthouse must have been to such a tiny fishing village in the 1800s.

In the West End, sadly, during our dream vacay my loving boyfriend needed to take care of some work. Our hotel, as lovely as it was, suffered from unreliable wifi and my bf was really stressing out as he needed to be able to push some info for a project ASAP. Luckily one of the lovely ladies who worked on... More

It takes a village and the Library is aplace that shows Negril Spirit and love for thy children. Led by the Rockhouse foundation, this library always makes me smile as the Jamaican love for family and children shows...well done to all who put so much love into this project :)

If you have a chance to drop in to the library, please do. And if you have any extra books that you would like to donate, they will be very happy to receive them. Thanks in advance.

The Negril library is really spacious and comfortable. I took my kids there in late summer and was amazed at how well equipped they are. There is a separate computer lab, a reading area, clean toilets and a reception area with very helpful staff.

The library is located beside the first stop on the One Love Bus Tour. Lenbert the driver walked me over to the library so I could make my book donation. I solicited book donations from my family and brought them in a second suitcase. I am certain that school supplies would also be welcome as they are located beside a... More
