The naturally occurring minerals in the limestone act as an underground filter for the steady upwelling of water, leaving behind a luxuriously pure bath of minerals for guests to enjoy. Blue Hole Mineral Spring is located only 25 minutes southeast of Negril. If you are staying in Negril there are a number of drivers who can take you, or call and we will pick you up! « less

I think Blue Hole Mineral Springs is great if you're there primarily for the show the lifeguards put on in terms of showing off how they can flip and dive into the spring from trees or the cliff ledge. I would have liked it better if someone had shown me how to jump properly, so as to avoid massive bruises... More

I stumbled upon the Blue Hole by accident even before it was a resort.....I must say locals spoke of this place where they would swim and gather around this "Blue Hole Mineral Spring , especially on Sundays. When I first went to the Hole it was back in March of 2008 . This was before the bar, pool or hotel... More

Huge important note to all girls: ask the diving staff how to dive (point your toes, where to put your arms when) for the most balance and least amount of discomfort when you hit the water. WEAR BOARD SHORTS or all of your nether regions will experience a pretty intense pain after your jump. You will find all men will... More

Dear Shykoala, I would like to thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. While I am both surprised and saddened to hear that you felt disrespected by one or more members or our staff, I am determined to find out exactly what occurred (and with whom) so that I can take action to ensure this does not happen... Out of the way, a little tricky driving, but totally worth the challenge. Blue hole is a haven in the hills above Negril. The people there were gracious and kind, as we found most Jamaicans. Jumping into the "hole" was a rush I repeated several times. We took a tour of the mostly completed hotel, and although under construction, the... More

The drive in from Negril is about 30 to 40 minutes, but with the right driver, it's a tour AND an adventure. (Lucky for us, we had the right driver!) We paid $60 for the drive, which was for our family of 5. Truly in the middle of nowhere, the Blue Hole is exactly what you expect from reading the... More

The blue hole is a great side trip outside of Negril. Most day trips are a good hour or more away and this trip was only about 30-40min. First negotiate a good price with a reputable driver, check with your hotel for one. Depending on how many people and how long you stay i would try for $10 per person.... More

I had a blast at the Blue Hole! I was a little worry about climbing the ladder back out of the hole, but hey, I am over 40 and smoke a pack a day and had no worries! Now I will say that my behind had all the colors of the Jamaican flag from landing on it but it was... More

The hole was a fun 25 ft. jump and refreshing, but I don't think it was worth a $50 cab ride from 7 mile + $10 pp entry. If you have money to blow though, go check it out. The local cliff jumpers were entertaining, funny, and encouraging. The pool and bar area was relaxing and chill. INTERESTING NOTE: I... More

We paid $50 from downtown area and then $10 each to use pool and Blue Hole. Literally in the middle of a dry, nowhere. It's pretty and exhilarating and they have drinks/bar (maybe snacks, too?) there but other than that that's it. I did not think it was worth the money but that's just me. After we went to Rick's... After scouring activities in Negril on TripAdvisor from my hotel for a while, I came upon Blue Hole Mineral Spring and was intrigued. In a very touristy area, its nice to find an off-the-beaten-path adventure. The place is about 40 minutes from Negril set back in the hills. Getting there was even enjoyable as the cab ride took us through... More
