Ricks is a really fun place to go for for drinks and watching the sunset. They have good live music.....a vibrant friendly bar atmosphere, and good food too. You can also watch the cliff jumpers, entertaining the crowds by jumping into the sea. We had a great time there, and would highly recommend it. The only strange thing is the... More

The trademark cliff divers, sunset and band were worth the visit to experience but the crowd behaviour can be a put-off. I notice that other reviewers signal similar spots nearby that are less frenetic. Might be worth investigating although ... I do enjoy the firsthand experience of this famous landmark in so many literary and other references! And ... it... More

So much fun. We took a boat cruise to Rick's and swam up to the jump spot. We each took turns jumping off the platforms. It was terrifying and exhilarating. Certainly not the safest thing to do but you only live once!. The professional divers are amazing! Consensus among our groups was food and drink are very expensive and not... More

When you got to Rick's Cafe it was a little before sunset. The view was absolutely gorgeous!!! The drinks and atomsphere was wonderful. Watching the divers dive was a fun experience. Great photo opts for pictures. The only negative was the crowd of people that were there. It was hard to find a place to sit and enjoy the complete... More

first went to ricks cafe many years ago before it became a money grabbing commercialised tourist trap. It is still a fun place to go but it has definitely lost its charm and customer service. Staff just stand around and chat while your overpriced food goes cold. Someone needs to get this place back to what it was. I doubt... More

Loud, boozy, showy and flashing a lot of dollars. Sounds familiar? Yep, this is a hangout mostly frequented by North Americans. Interesting to see how they interact.

Ricks is one of those obligatory things you need to do when first visiting Negril. It is cool to watch the cliff divers and grab a drink. If you go for the sunset be prepared for a zoo! If you want a good table it is required that you buy dinner. The night we were there we had the rudest... More

Came here just for their "famous sunset." There were a bunch of professional cliff divers which was entertaining. They will ask you for a tip after watching them perform. I did not order any food at the restaurant as i was told its a rip off for American food. So i just ordered drinks which I paid bout $5 for... More
