While staying at Couples Swept Away, this was the only place that warranted coming off the beach to travel to. It was beautiful! The blue skies and water, and the cliffs, and watching the divers go off, and terrific full bar...I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back.

Don't leave Rick's without jumping off cliff, even if it is one of the lower ones. GREAT RUSH! We stayed for sunset and was out by 6:30pm and didn't miss any parties back at the resort.

I enjoyed cliff jumping and watching the sunset, however it was very crowded. Also, be careful if you choose to jump! My friend hurt her tailbone on the first try (I jumped at lease 3 times without injury, but I've heard of other people being hurt before)>

We were in Negril Apr.1-8th and bought into Ricks the "10"th best cafe in the world. Obviously labeled by anyone who's never been to any other cafe. Our waitress Aly was unpleasant beyond belief and the food especially the "sheddy" shrimp was even more unpleasant, with a hefty price tag to boot. the View was ruined by the maddening crowds... You just can't visit Negril without going to Rick's Café. This is definitely a must. It is such a beautiful area with the wild cliffs and the waves hitting them. Amusing to watch the brave guys jumping from the cliff into the water. Good café but the service is slow.

Scenery is great but food awful and prices high. If you jump into water, you will get guys trying to take you into cave. DO NOT GO! its a trap. They will then hound you for money with high pressure tactics. Not even worth going at all. Total scam. Just tell them NO! Do NOT eat here. Just go for... More

We took a long drive to Negril to see the cliffs and make a stop at Rick's Cafe. We decided to go after seeing it on the Travel Channel. We had a blast. We didn't take a tour excursion so we didn't stay for a sunset but we got to experience jumping off the cliffs into the crystal clear waters.

The cliff divers were fearless. I would never do anything like that, but it was awesome to watch these guys. Some tourists got involved also. Great atmosphere.

Stopping by Rick's during our catamaran ride was one of the highlights of our trip. I loved seeing the locals perform their amazing dives from the 80 foot jump as well as the edge of the cliffs. Very talented and brave (crazy?) individuals. Additionally, some in our group jumped from the 10, 14, 25, and 35 foot cliffs. For some... More
