I have visited a lot of beaches in the world but I honestly think this was my favourite. The water is so clear and calm, perfect for swimming and watersports. The beach is very clean with the resorts keeping it in pristine condition. Perfectly safe to walk in the day but best to avoid when the sun goes down.

I visited the Island in 2013 and met a guy on the beach called Ticka, he pestered me and fell for his charm. |Ladies beware this man is a con artist and the lies just keeps coming. Marriage you name it he was going to be your dream man. Its a pity that this beautiful country has men like this.... More

I have been to many Caribbean islands and Negril's 7 mile beach is one of the nicest. The water was warm and clear with small waves. Also, as you walk along the beach there are plenty of places to stop for lunch or just a drink.

Be aware of the fake rastas and hustlers. The beach is amazing, only the hustling is annoying. White sand and blue water...

Negril faces a nightmare as Seven Miles of White Sand is being swept away by changing ocean currents and an eroding coastline from rampant development. The sand remains and the water is warm, colorful and spectacular. However, unless you are at a "protected" beach club/hotel you are at the mercy of hundreds and hundreds of Jamaicans who roam the beach... More

Beautiful beach with clear, blue water! Lots of starfish, some sting rays, and other marine life just a few feet from shore. There are beach vendors who try to get you to buy goods or services but a polite, "no, thank you", is enough to send them away.

Beaches are beautiful! You can walk by the waters edge in morning and see fish, starfish and sting rays.

Ocho Rios have way better beaches specially at the Riu. Negril is over rated and the beaches are a bit polluted.

The long stretch of beautiful white sand. Its front row seat to a beautiful Negril sunset! drug dealers can be annoying though.

Loved everything about it When we decided to come to Jamaica did not want to go to a inclusive resort but wanted to be right on the beach. We found Bourbon Beach on this stretch and it had everything we were looking for. Clean rooms, good food, great staff that have became true friends. Also the best music everynight..
