Very beautiful, lots of things to see, beautiful water, great place to exercise (walk or run). Each hotel has security so you feel safe but all the people trying to get you to buy stuff gets really old after a while. We are very generous people and understand their need to make money but it was one person after another... More

Beautiful sandy beach with calm blue waters. Lots of space to enjoy yourself without climbing over others. Lots of little art craft shops, tradesman with a variety of authentic items including jewellery and fruit punch for sale. The ban on the jet ski has recently been lifted so should be up and running by August.

We rented a villa in Montego Bay, but I wish we would have stayed in Negril!! It was absolutely beautiful and there is sooo much to do on the beach! Bars, water sports, restaurants, shopping! A must see and do attraction!!!

The beach itself is quite beautiful but during the busy season there are lots of people trying to sell things and can get kinda pushy. The large resort side they are not allowed to sell things so its a quieter more peaceful stroll.

Most beach in Jamaica is clean, but 7 miles is cleaner and free - no entrance fee. Some great places to eat are around. Sunnyside bar is one of the best bar on the beach. Only annoying thing at 7 miles is the hustlers - they hustle and harass you for everything! Ignore them and enjoy

We spent a week in Negril on the beach and loved it. The water was a beautiful teal, incredibly clear and very refreshing. You can walk out for some distance but watch for the various boats shuttling around. We snorkeled some and found a live conch. The sand was powdery and we spend many hours soaking up the sun and... Simply Amazing the water and the view is enough in it self. You can spend the whole day and night on the beach and feel the time stop.

A bit deceptive in the title in that you can really only walk four of the 7 miles, the rest if filled with cliffs. The water is so clear, you never know what sea animal will come along side you!

The beach was amazing and with 7 miles of it, we had plenty to see and enjoy. You can spend a week enjoying just the beach and all the different locations on it. We found some areas that have places for many to relax and we also found some areas that are more secluded with a little extra walking, well... More
