I just couldn't imagine this. This is one of the best beaches I have ever visit. The water is crystal clear and the beaches are very clean. Not a lot of vendor activity so you can have your peace.

This was our 4th trip to Negril staying at rooms on the beach . Less crowed in Jan. Beach had less high pressure salesmen! We found more small local restaurants with great food & hospitality !! Overall a fantastic trip with great weather can't wait to return next January !!!

You can use Jamaican money here for the best prices. Negotiate, There are some finds to be had. A polite no thanks will always work for vendors.

pure white sand cleaned daily. Calm clear sea. Fairly shallow as there is seaweed further out. Not the best for snorkelling. ~We saw some huge eagle rays and starfish but not much else. It was so warm and lovely

Beautiful white soft sands & some great snorkelling at one end! The 7-mile faces west so get ready for spectacular sunsets. The beaches have such a variety of spots: 3,4,5-Star resorts, Boutique resorts, Condos, Craft markets, Restaurants-lots! both touristy & authentic Jamaican, Beach clubs with live Jamaican bands (some well known), Hot spots for partying with locals, and Beach Pedlars... My husband and I have been traveling to Negril since 1996. This beach is my favorite because it's typically very calm (no crashing waves here).
