However, it has been years since I've visited but it was not worth the trip. I hope that they have improved it but still probably a place to sell cheap trinkets and tape recordings.

Well worth the travel to pay respects the the Bush Doctor himself. The tour guide Squid was most excellent. Took us for a walk around the property to eat fresh mangos, nesberries, etc. We combined our visit to Peter Tosh Monument and Parriott Bar! I loved the south coast of JA.

Our step-on guide gave us the interesting history of Peter Tosh and the monument, but we didn't stop. It can easily be seen from the coast road, which is very rough at this point, so you're already driving really slow.

We visited here in April 2014 for a very special reason, we were not disappointed, a brilliant young guide who knew his stuff relaid the whole sad story of Peters life, the atmosphere there is something special, its not one bit commercial and if your a Reggae Fan its a must visit. highly recommended

Got a driver to take me there and was charged 10 dollars on entrance. Was shown where he had been buried which was beautiful. Unfortunately, for the ten dollars I wasn't really told much except for a bit of a mumble about when he was born and when he died which was written on the wall anyway. I could have... More

Wanted to leave a review only because the comment about getting there! We stopped in this little town where Peter Tosh was from. The beach and beer joint across the street was very authentic! I would like to return someday and stay longer and visit the monument. I think it's worthwhile trip if you want to escape the tourist and... More

Getting to this place is half the fun. It is about 45 mins. from Negril and you get to see beautiful scenery, as well as, several cool little towns. When we arrived we were greeted by "Squid," a pleasant young man who gave us a tour of the compound and history of Peter Tosh, the town, the family and was... More
