On our first trip in Jamaica, we stayed at the Jewel Dunns River where Hobie Cat catamarans are chartered for short tours by the guides. We had heard rumors that if we asked for Stephen, that he would take us to this amazing beach and take pictures for us. We had just gotten engaged and coordinated with Stephen on a... More

We were told that the beach is actually not open to the public. We made an arrangement, let's say, to sail to the site which we did. The beach was, in fact, guarded with chaps accompanied by dogs. It felt very authentic (Dr. No). It was our understanding that the beach is part of the Governor's retreat home, thus the... More

It was beautiful! There was noone else there but us. You have to go out in the water where the waterfall spring water meets the ocean and dive in! The cold on top then hot in the bottom of the water is something to experience. While I dont know what the entrance is like coming in from the water was... More

Not much here when we went other than a lot of driftwood from a tropical storm. May be more now and bitterly disappointed not to see Honey Rider coming out of the waves with a conch shell! However, worth just for the photo and to say you've been! More

I loved this place. The beach was beautiful, the water was clear no seaweed. It was about an half hour from Ocho's to the east. We had the beach to ourselves. There is a bar/restaurant so you don't have to pack a lunch. Very nice time had by all. More

Three of us tried several different lumch offerings. The hamburger was declared excellent by our adult son, and the fresh fish I had was also great. No complaints about the food or the service. My rum punch got knocked over by the waitress, and was promptly cleaned up, followed by free rum punches for all three of us. And still,... More
