Walked from cruise port and when you enter the "boat" area there were 4-6 men who asked where you are going, I said the beach, and next thing one of them is walking with us. It's a path, we could have walked ourselves, but they walk you all the way into the property and then want a tip. I gave... More

Ocho Rios did not have so pretty beaches as Negril. There were quite windy every day and the sea was not calm.

This is a very scenic spot with lovely sand and calm waters. Great for swimming or just lying in the sun. This beach was only really busy on the day two cruise ships docked. It is adjacent to the pier and tourists from the ships can come and use the beach, though they might have to pay a couple of... More

we found the beach clean with plenty of shady palm trees for those who need it. Access to bars and restaurants in hotel. Jerk chicken hut on beach every day as well as BBQ and late night beach party. Entertainment staff provide French bowls, volleyball, water aerobics keep fit dance moves if you want ti join in. There are water... More

When we got there, there were no more lounge chairs available to us. Food was ok. Service was great.

Typical Jamaican beach with blue sea & white sand, although you have to pay to enter if you're not staying at a hotel along the beach but $JA200 isn't expensive. There is a bar on the beach which sell local cuisine and beverages but if you don't want that you can go elsewhere and they'll let you back on the... More

If you're easy going and enjoy walking along the beach, then this beach is ok. If you've been to Negril and are expecting something similar - this is NOT the beach for you. You can't see your feet in the water because of the waves and sand. There is lots of seaweed / grass and some deep holes. One guy... More

With it's location in the centre of Ocho Rios it is ideal to spend a few hours just enjoying youselves and relaxing.Good facilities. The only draw backs are the prices of the drinks and food (take your own) and the amount of seagrass in the water meaning only a small are is comfortable to swim in.

We observed a discrepancy about the actual admission fee to get into this beach. The main sign, albeit quite dated, stated $200 JMD, for entry. A paper sign on the window at the pay booth stated $3 US. The windows were blackened so I was unable to see the person taking the money from me. There was only a little... More
