I did a little research in advance, and had read about Devon House I-Scream ice cream shop. Go hit this place up. They got about 20 flavors of ice cream. I tried one particular flavor, which is made from some local fruit. Delicious. Well worth the $3 or $4 for a cup. Cigars are also available in a shop in... More

Island village is right at the location where the cruise ship ports. There is a local ice cream shop called Devon House. This ice cream shop is owned by locals and the ice cream is fabulous. Margaritaville has good food and a clean beach. There are several shops that are open. There is even gentlemen selling coconut water from real... More

half the stores are closed, there is an ice cream shop, margaritaville, couple souvenir shops, an overpriced cigar shop, and the pub. its a place for the tourists from the cruise ships to hang out at to kill time. if you're daring to walk into town, make sure you can hold your own because some of the locals are very... We enjoyed our visit to the coffee shop here where we had our first delicious beef patty. We met another merchant who was lovely to chat with and we learned a lot about Jamaican politics. We've also enjoyed the Devon House ice cream right next door. Otherwise it's pretty much the same sort of stuff found in other places and... More

I'll admit, my husband and I aren't big on shopping so we didn't go into any of the stores. Most looked like any other port shopping center. BUT, Devon's Ice cream is worth the trip alone!! YUM! We had ice cream four times the week we were there. So delicious and they are so nice. Unique flavors and then get... More

Visited this location during a nice day in Ocho Rios town. The village has a lot of scenic views from colorful shops gardens. The atmosphere is very tropical and inviting. Unfortunately dying this period in November there was not much to enjoy as most of the shops were closed or out of business. The idea and potential here is amazing... More
