The climbing of the water falls was OK, lots of Americans holding hands with strangers to avoid a slip and fall. The worst part was the peddling and begging at every turn by the tour guides and the vendors on the way out

This is a very unsafe attraction to participate in. You actually walk on the water falls with the strong water rushing around your feet. We were able to do this but there were a few elderly people in our group that greatly struggled and the guides were not assisting them. Several people fell and one person had a bloody knee.... More

This is a nice place to go. Nothing special. You climb down a lot of steps, then you hold hands and climb up the (chilly) falls. However, this is one of the few main draws in Ocho Rios. Nice guides. Fun but overrated.

Fun in the falls. But guide was fast and we didnt get to do some of the stuff people said they did like slide down and a few other things. I didnt like the shopping there....the locals would ask for your name then start carving it into wood and then make you buy it....but other than that it was fun.

The place was very natural for nature lovers. The water felt great on hot days. We didn't climb the falls, but enjoyed ourselves just the same.

I suppose my husband and I did not do very good research. We assumed this attraction was seeing and walking around actual waterfalls. In reality, it involves getting into a creek and climbing up artificial rocks as water cascades down. You need to be in swimsuit and appropriate footwear for climbing up wet rocks. Be prepared for the staff to... More

This has to be experienced first-hand. If you have issues with knees, walking, or back -- it's probably not for you -- but there is a by-pass that you can walk up that's not too strenuous.

We loved Dunn's River Falls. It was amazing climbing the waterfalls. The guides were wonderful. The worst part of the trip was walking through all the hassling vendors on the way out of the park.
