Lounge chairs are lined along the seashore, some grouped amongst shady random clusters of hundred year old almond and palm trees, while others are arranged closer to the waters edge. Enjoy soft reggae music and great Jamaican hospitality. A large bamboo bar offers exotic cocktails and beverages, and the seaside restaurant serves tasty local cuisine. « less

We spent a week in Jamaica and traveled all over the island visiting and touring all the sites. Our favorite beach by far was Reggae Beach. It was so beautiful and had a real Caribbean feel with lots of palm trees almond trees - we felt like we were on a private island. There was reggae music playing and the... More

Quiet and out of the way. We had lots of space. Water was turquoise and sand was white. Good food at the beach bar too. We paid $7 admission I think and another 15 -20 each on food so a bit pricy for a family but we enjoyed our day there. More

We stayed for a week in Ocho Rios and spent a lot of time at Reggae Beach. It's one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. It was mainly quiet with light reggae music and great food and drinks, except for one day when we happened to be there at the same time there was a cruise ship in... More

great beach but the when we arrived the cruise groups were just leaving and the waitress told us of their entire menu they only had chicken, fish and pasta left. They hand you a large menu and then only have three items available. Our kids were very disappointed. Also when you order your drinks dont expect speedy service. They would... More

The day we spent at the beach was relaxing. We were there with just a few others and we practically had it to ourselves. There is a fee to get in as with most of the beaches in Jamaica. They provided lounge chair cushions and have a bar and restarant. The beach is nice and there was a lifeguard on... More

The beach is incredibly beautiful, however for a family of 4, it will cost you $28 US to get in.....the food there (at the snack bar) is very expensive...pack a lunch but hide it because you are not supposed to take outside food in..... More

As a Jamaican on holiday I recommend this beach. The water is nice and it is very private. The best was the food. We had fry and steam fish, bammy and festival. The food was excellent and they brought the tables and chair right on the beach by the shoreline to eat. The manager Elan is doing a good job. More

You pay a fee to go in but it is worth it. There are plenty of beachchairs and you can get food and drink. The beach and water very nice. Could stay all day just going in and out of water and lounging in the chair. There is entertainment on certain days but not the day we were there. Fun... More
