My wife picked this among the various excursion options for our hotel's tour desk. The tour of the plantation was interesting but it wasn't exactly as advertised. I assumed by "working plantation" they meant there were actively growing and harvesting commercial crops. This is not the case. Small crops are grown solely to show off to tourists. My wife and I wanted to goto Jamaica for the first time and saturate ourselves in history, culture, and people. This tour hits every note that we wished for. A charming 3 mile, steep, hilly walk through the remains of an old and historic plantation. The trees and blossoms are quiet special, many planted by the the great good. This was by far one of our highlighted-- most enjoyable tour of the island---big thanks to our tour guide------DONOVAN--- he was comical---and knowledgeable---our hats off to him. hire more "DONOVANS" THANKS---PEACHES FROM GEORGIA more

Visited the plantation on a Sunday and there were no tours, just a couple of guys welding a wagon. It was interesting walking around, but it is huge so I didn't get to see much.
