Shaw park is up the hill above the old Enchanted Gardens hotel. The turtle river runs through to start the waterfalls that cascades down the hill. If you love plants you will like this place. It's peaceful and quiet, not crowded at all. The old swimming pool is a pond now. It was a nice place for a picnic. More

Everything was beautiful inside of the gardens, but on the way up and back down, there were vendors on the sides f the road wanting your money. They are everywhere in Jamaica, trying to haggle with you to the point where you can feel cornered. Stick with your group, and you should be fine. More

We loved Shaw Park. It has beautiful flowers, an awesome waterfall, a banyon tree from 1929 and Jamaica's own hummingbirds, The Doctor Hummingbird. The male hummingbirds stake out certain trees in the gardens. There are lots of opportunities to take pictures of them. More
