I know it's not huge and its small quick trip through but if you take a second to see the beauty and chat up the local sales people it can be a blast!!! First off Jason and his dad are amazing wood carvers to watch them with hunk of wood and start chiseling away and taking shape is pretty amazing... More

We hired a driver at our resort to drive us around the area to see the local flavor. He took us up Fern Gully. Pretty neat stuff. Don't get overly excited about seeing very far. You can't. But the 200 types of ferns native to Fern Gully is pretty cool. Look up out the side of the vehicle as you... More

So off of the cruise ship, and onto our bus. The first stop was to Fern Gully. The tour guide discussed how much it rains etc. We drove for a few minutes up the side of a mountain. She says there are over 300 types of ferns in this area. We see a few guys selling items on the side... More

The Fern Gully can be found by taking the main road to Kingston out of Ochos Rios town centre. It is a beautiful area especially just after it has rained. All along the roadside you will see street traders selling their artworks but there is nothing special... Expect for a guy who dances around at the side of the road... More

We drove through fern gully on our way to kingston. Very scenic route but would've much rather been on the highway directly there.

The Fern Gully was very beautiful with all of the vegetation growing. It looked very tropical and a natural beauty.

We drove through Fern Gully on our way out of Ocho Rios to Kingston. There are over 300 species of fern here--many indigenous to the island. It is nice and shady during this 3 mile drive but not much else to do. I am not aware that there is a public walkway through the area which would have been a... More

Great scenery during the daytime. Completely different in the dark and definitely more dangerous with few options to turn back once into the gully

It was just a winding road with lots of beautiful trees and ferns...I wouldn't pay extra to see this...we went with a friend who lives there so he just drove us through but not anything spectacular..
