I traveled with a group to Croydon in the Mountains early this week primarily to observe the tour route and product offering. The overall concensus of the group was that the tour guide was excellent, her name Alicia, she did a wonderful job of giving information, entertaining her visitors and managing their experience. We were all impressed. We would recommend... More

My husband and I are beach people and not history buffs at all. We decided to do something different and book the Croydon Plantation tour. We booked directly through the plantation prior to coming to Jamaica via email. Then we called as advised once we arrived in Jamaica to confirm our tour. We were told we would be picked up... More

We recently visited croydon and would definitely recommend this tour for older children and adults. We came away with a ton of new knowledge and definitely felt our time and money were well spent. We toured with Winston and Alisha and we could feel their passion for their country and their jobs. What great ambassadors for Jamaica. The trip was... More

Loved it all from the tour itself to the taster sessions as you walk round. You can feel the passion the people had for the plantation and its not often you actually meet the owner as you walk round.

Learn about bees, pineapples, trees etc. guides were very knowledgable. Please remember to spray repellent before you go. I suffer from insect bites and as I do not usually get bitten in Jamaica I stupidly forgot to protect myself!!

My group and I traveled to this plantation late October. Our tour guide Winston did an excellent job in educating us on the different plants and their medicinal values...most of which I had no prior knowledge of. Winston presented the information in a humorous manner which had us laughing like crazy. We had lunch on the plantation and I must... More

Lush and green..... Costs was equivalent to £50 per person, so not cheap. But it was so lush and the real Jamaica. The visit included a bar-b-q lunch. You were offered to sample various varieties of pineapples that was interesting. Informative.

and on this trip, I learned more than one! Despite the crazy drive up and down the mountain to get there (thank goodness our driver was excellent!), the views were great and the plantation was gorgeous. Learned alot about different plants and varieties with tastings and samples. I don't know what the person in the other review is talking about... More
