We took this excursion from our cruise ship since my wife is pregnant. Our guide was Winston. We both really enjoyed his humor and knowledge. The views and landscaping is incredible. They allow you to try several of their crops that were harvested that morning. I never realized the difference between a pineapple that was harvested when ripe and a... More

We purchased this excursion while on a cruise. The ride to the plantation allowed us the opportunity to actually see Jamaica. We drove for about an hour over the mountainous terrain on asphalt and dirt roads. Our local guide informed us of the local culture and history. We arrived and were offered bottled water and began the tour. Our group... More

A wonderful trip into the mountains to a fruit plantation which lasts just over half a day (from Lucea). Winston was our tour guide and he was great!! Very entertaining with his unique style in jokes but so knowledgeable on the plantation and all that is grown there as well as being passionate about his country. Definitely the right person... More

The plantation isn't exactly in Montego Bay. LOL It is about an hour and half via windy narrow mountain roads full of blind curves. In fact, the best part of this tour was the trip from Montego Bay to Catadupa. It was a great cultural experience. The plantation itself was very entertaining. Of course my favorite part was to taste... More

A good trip with an excellent tour guide and we even met the owner of the Plantation. It was good to see Jamaica outside the hotel complex

The plantation is beautiful. We tasted many different pineapples and learned of the history and plant life of the Croydon Plantation. We ate lunch on a scenic hill overlooking the plantation. We had to have security guards with us at all times due to the risk of being robbed or attacked. The buses had security escorts (equivalent to our national... More

While on a cruise in April we decided to spent the time we had in Jamaica with some local people instead of another beach. So glad we did because we met locals, saw the countryside and the mountains, the very beautiful plantation and all of it's many trees and vegetation. We were treated to pineapple, starfruit and coconut. We were... More

Its not ziplining and its not dune buggy riding but this is a tour that anyone going to Jamaica should see. What we got was a trip through the mountains to the plantation where you got to see a slice of everyday life in Jamaica or as much as you can from a moving bus. Our guide Winston C was... More

Visited the Croydon Plantation in mid February. It is a wonderful way to see the real jamaica and learn facts about their culture. Beautiful grounds and prople. We got to sample several different foods and were also prepared an authentic Jamaican lunch, which was amazing. I want to send a big shout out to Alicia and Winston (our tour guides)... More

Once recovered from the bumpy journey, the experience was enjoyable and very informative. Never knew there are so many varieties of pineapple!
