This was one of our favorite excursions. BEAUTIFUL!! Well worth the $. ($60 for the raft) The kids (10 and 14) swam down the river next to our raft. They had a great time!! I loved the scenery and our guide.
An escape from the noise and bustle of the beach resorts, and a peaceful, beautiful location - surrounded by bananas and bamboo. It was a highlight for the kids, who also loved the carved calabash sold by the raft captains.
Our guide Capt. Murphy, a true Rasta Man was marvelous. He did not rush our trip and really made sure that we understood and appreciated the tranquility of this trip!
Unique experience and quite relaxing. Long bamboo rafts propelled along the river by a man with a long bamboo pole. About an hour long trip.

Enjoyed the ride down this beautiful, calm river! WOW, I loved it. Safe for small children, I had my 3-yr-old. They provide life jackets for all rafts. The water was a beautiful turquoise. If you do this, make sure you take money. There are vendors along the banks of the river selling souvenirs and beer, water. I could spend all... More
