Very nice lazy rafting trip down the Martha Brae River run by a well run operator. Our guide was very informative and friendly allowing us to interact or just quietly enjoy the views. He also allowed us to try our hand at guiding the raft which was a nice touch. As is common with the rest of Jamaica expect to... More

I booked this trip via our hotel and its was about an hours drive, when you arrive you can have a look around a small herb garden, there are a couple of shops and veery welcome toilets. You are then allocated life jackets and taken to the river, its optional to wear the jackets but the river varies in depth... More

My bf and I had such an amazing time, the bamboo ride was so relaxing, peaceful and secluded. I felt like I was in another world, what a great experience. Captain Bolton wasn't much of a talker which made our experience even better. He was knowledgeable, when we did ask a few questions. This is a must do. Great photo... More

Cleve was our river guide. His number was #43. He has over 30 years experience on the river. He explained about the almond and banana trees we saw growing on the river banks. Then gave us the chance to be river pilots.

Went on this trip as part of our 2 week holiday to Montego Bay. So glad we did it. You get a complimentary drink before you set off, which is great. Our raft driver Edgar was really interesting and he explained lots of sights as we slowly meandered down Martha brae river, just pure bliss. He explained about the plants,... More

We enjoyed our scenic time drifting downstream on the shaded river thru the forest. Got to see another very green, relaxing area of Jamacia . Other than a small bar is at the end there is not much else But the river "cruise" is worth doing.

Make sure you put on your insect repellant before going. Otherwise it's a great time. Quiet, relaxing, peaceful. Wish it was a longer ride.

This was a Carnival Cruise tour. We did this trip as a couple and had a fantastic time. Once you get to the river it is about a hour and a half trip. Very smooth and really out in the middle of nowhere. There is an area you can purchase beverages that you can carry on your raft :-). I... More

We had a lovely relaxing day being punted up the river. The punter pointed out some of the tree lizards. Towards the end of trip they try and sell you these hand carved goards (very over priced)
