This is what it is a sandy beach with blue water. Every additional item cost money but the prices are very reasonable.

Had a VERY similar experience to the negative reviews on here today. Got off the ship in the Port of Falmouth - asked to the Taxi Director for a Taxi to the HipStrip and were told it would cost $20 roundstrip(which seemed cheap because of the distance). However, on the way to Montego Bay/HipStrip our taxi stopped at some shopping... More

I visited this beach while staying in Montego Bay. It is not an amusement park by North American standards but is a great spot to chill out for a while. Located just off the Hip Strip, it is a fairly quiet private beach area with some small shops and other amenities. The water was clean when I was there and... More

Dirty beach, not nice facilities, and a waste of time. I would not consider this a tourist spot in any way shape or form. Not a water park, and we felt misled and ripped off.

Beach was not nice at all even though the cabbie promised to take us to a really nice beach close to the Falmouth cruise terminal. A fellow traveller complained and insisted on going to doctors cave beach which he said was much better. With so little time to spend in port, this was a waste of valuable time. Water was... More

We wanted to go to Doctor's Cave beach but without telling us they brought us here. Sea was beautifull and we made some nice pictures, we liked the welcoming from the dj that was saying our names through the microphone. But I can't understand that you have to pay admission for such an old infrastructure and try to avoid the... More

Got suckered into going to the beach from the cab drivers waiting by the carnival ship. They beg you to go to aqua sol instead of doctors cove, which is superior by far. I attended doctors cove last year. Everyone from the weed dealers who bombard you to buy their product to the DJ and the contortionist dancer who thinks... More

This is not a "theme park" at all but rather a tourist trap. Expect Disney? This is not it. It is a low budget place that just wants in your wallet. Doctor's Cave Beach is a better bet. It is just a beach - and not the best, at that.

This is a nice beach. The beach itself is nicer than Doctor's Cave but the facilities are older and need upgrading. The cost to get in is $4 per person, which is a high price to pay to just go to a beach. Beaches in Negril are much nicer and do not cost anything. If you want to spend your... More

There is a $5 entrance fee per person. The beach is small but it's the best place for snorkelling with children as soon as the beach is protected. It's a nice place to spend the day. However, this is not a water park.
