I found the Greenwood Great House to be more enjoyable then Rose Hall. It is not as grand and does not have a ghost story. What is does have is many beautiful antiques. It has some amazing old musical items that I have never seen before. The view from the veranda is so magnificent that I just stood there gazing... More

The house is high on the mountain and offers great views and great breeze. The house is a like a museum and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The furniture and fixtures of the house are amazing and date back many years. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained with green lawn and gorgeous native flowers. More

We visited Greenwood Great House in December. The road to get there is atrocious, but the views from the top are phenomenal! This place has to have one of, if not the best collection of historical antiques found in Jamaica. Great furniture, bottles, music machines and book collection (amongst other things). It was well worth the visit. The price I... More

This was a short 5 minute walk from our B&B and as we were the only people there, given an informative and relaxing tour. Enjoying seeing and hearing all it had to offer. More

We visited by taxi from Silver Sands. Entrance cost us $20 per adult and $10 per child so $60 US for our family. We thought that was a bit steep but once we were on the tour, were very impressed with the collection of antiques and in particular, the musical instruments. The polyphone was amazing; the knowledgeable and friendly tour... More
