Ok beach, I've seen nicer and you have to pay $6 to visit and swim there and then you also have to pay for a lounger. Wouldn't visit again.

If you stay across the street at the Gloucestershire Hotel you pay US$5 to enter. Otherwise it is US$6 to enter, US$6 for each beach chair and each umbrella. The huge tube trampoline was a great place to dive from and there were small coral colonies with fish and sea life 20 feet from the trampoline. Using my goggles, I... More

A friend and I went here on a day visit while staying in Montego Bay Area. We didn't get a chair or umbrella this visit but had fun people watchin and going in for a dip to cool off. Nice place to visit good food ambiance a little relaxed not a lot of cruise shippers that day. When the ship... More

We packed a bag and decided to spend the day at the beach, all beaches around where we were staying were still very churned up, dirty and full of weeds so we decided on Doctors cove. It Was quite picey at $6... More

Excellent catamaran trip arranged from Thomson cruise ship to Drs cave beach having been snorkelling on route. Lovely day out. Great to get WiFi for free at the beach and very good changing room facilities. A great day spent here.

Beach is beautiful, and not as packed with visitors as the books indicated, except on "cruise" days (when the cruise ships dock). Be sure to rent ($6) snorkeling equipment and snorkel along the pier located to your left as you enter the beach....unforgettable!

Only place to really go if you're not staying at an all-inclusive. The water is beautiful and there's a restaurant, but it's smaller and very crowded if you're coming on a cruise day. Want some weed, no problem mon, it's there for you and will be offered by every server. There's even a small sting operation over by the pier,... More

Spent a lovely morning at this beach but when I went to the rest room there was no soap for washing my hands. Asked 3 people in the vicinity at the nearest food booths. No one was able to refill the soap holder. Found the supervisor at the entrance desk who dismissed this as an important concern. Reminded him of... More

This was a beautiful beach located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. They had a water trampoline just off the shore which was fun for kids to play on. There was also a little bar and restaurant with wifi located on the beach, which was very convenient. Unfortunately the beach was very crowded so we didn't spend much time... More
