The place needs good maintenance. The showers were open, doors were off, the showers did not work, the beach was dirty, the dressing areas were smelly. More

Clean, well kept and well equipped, no hustlers; well worth the small entrance fee. Lively and fun on weekends and public holidays, quiet mid week. I have always enjoyed this beach, even when there were only five of us there on a day it was officially closed. Close to Kingston but a world away! More

Go early before the wind starts to blow up the sand. They open at 10 am I think...choose your fish and lobster and then go sit on the beach! The beach is clean and safe. More

Well worth a day at the beach. Not a lot of shade so get there early. Planing on eating? Order early as it can take a while. Go for the snapper! More

i really love this beach- simply because it is rarely very crowded! the food is very, very good- i'll just go there for the fish and bammies and not even go into the water (even though the water is great) More

I LOOOVE THIS BEACH. It is very peaceful without too much traffic. There is a small fee to enter but its a very cute beach. There are tons of picnic benches with beautiful trees for shade. It was very relaxing and romantic. I can't wait to go back. More

Lovely beach, well worth the small entrance fee, lots of shade for whities! Wander down to the little red hut to order some fried fish and festival - we had Lion fish and it was delicious. When you place your order, they tell you how long it will be - and for us they said 40 minutes and it took... More

If you want to leave behind the vendor hustlers at helshire beach then this a pretty good and clean beach to go to. However it doesnt have the nice tasting fish and festival like helshire. More

Not as exciting as Helshire. Better for families. Only one food shack. This is a great chill beach More
