Fun and interactive tour. Good rum! Had multiple opportunities to taste not only rum but the products along the process of making the rum. More

We did the Appleton Rum tour and enjoyed it very much. When we arrived they had a full sit down lunch waiting for us. It was delicious. While eating they brought rum punch made with the spiced rum and was also very good. From lunch we toured the rum factory and got the full history of making the rum from... More

Rum has been distilled at Appleton Estate since the 17th century and this tour presents the company's rich history through historical artifacts and a tour of every part of the distillling process. Our tour was led by an enthusiastic and knowledgable young woman who happily accommodated our small group despite the fact we arrived well after the scheduled closing time.... More

This trip was far from Runaway Bay however it was well worth it. I love this rum it was amazing to see how its made. It's nice to know that every ounce of Appleton rum is made from this factory and the history. Loved it. Don't think its worth seeing a second time but worth it for the first. More

Visited while on the south coast. The tour was $25 USD per person and that put in the "not sure I'd do it again" category. Not much to the tour, a demonstration of how sugar cane used to be squeezed using farm animals, a viewing of a barrel storage area and the brewing kettles, a tasting of a molasses/sugar mix,... More

After a long and bumpy ride from Ocho Rios through the parishes of Jamaica, we arrived to the Appleton Estate for a nice rum punch and a snack. The tour was very well organized as several buses arrived from the Black River and YS Falls tour within a few minutes and the staff kept everyone moving. The tour guide nicely... More

We had our driver bring 14 of us over from Hanover House near Montego Bay. We made a day of it by going on the Black River safari, out to the Pelican Bar, and finally stopping by the Appleton Estate. Our driver flew the van to get us there before closing. We were the last tour of the day. The... More

While visiting Montego Bay in April 2004 for a family vacation, my aunt who travels to Jamiaca regularly booked the Appleton tour for our entire family of 19. The tour was very informative and our tour guide was hilarious......one warning do not taste the syrup it is very bitter. They show you the entire process of how they make their... More
