I will keep it very short: This was easily the highlight of my honeymoon. Worth every penny. Guides were very friendly and helpful, never pushy. Never felt unsafe or crowded. Truly a piece of paradise. The climb up is a little bit challenging, but not too difficult for people of most ages. We saw people of ages 10 to about... More

This felt like a hidden gem! The falls are beautiful... shady, uncrowded and completely refreshing. The attraction is completely understated when you arrive but you won't be disappointed once you hit the water. This is a pretty challenging to climb, the current is very strong but our guides were awesome, remember to tip them! There are minimal food/drinks available so... More

My famiy of three (husband, 18-yr old son and myself) recently visited Mayfield Falls during our Negril trip. I wasn't sure what to expect and worried that my husband and son wouldn't like it but we all actually loved it! It is a very rustic and small place but our visit was great. Even though there were only 3 of... More

Fun trip. We did the hike up the river, which has several very small falls. A guide takes you walking up through the river and over falls. Most of the falls are only 1-3 feet, but it's a fun hike. The water is fast moving in some areas. You'll hike in water levels that range from 2 feet to some... More

Great trip to the Falls!! The restaurant left a lot to be desired. You order your food before taking the "tour" which did not suit me. When we returned, the bar had a limited selection, and NO ICE!! Unfortunately, our liquor was in the car which was a steep climb up to get. It is $20 to go on the... More

Mayfield Falls may not be for the less adventurous souls out there but worth every step. You will be wet the whole time and the boulder hopping was a bit difficult for an older lady with short legs but the guides helped all the way. The road up the mountain was narrow, bumby and had steep dropoffs but went through... More

We visited as part of our honeymoon. Our guide for our visit was Dwight, he was brilliant. Very knowledgable of the local plant and wildlife, and also made you feel comfortable. The falls themselves are excellent, with lots of photo opportunities (if possible bring a waterproof camera protector). Your guide will lead you through the forest to the falls and... More

Wow the waterfall is just majestic. Its nature at its best. Its a nice place to be one with nature. There is a great restaurant on spot. The tour guides are very friendly and the grounds are very beautiful and well kept. I did not want to leave. I would surely go again.

I am sure that if you want to see some of the back country Jamaica, this is one of the best. We went with Wayne of Wayne's tours, 876 310 4991. He was great. You need to know that if you are elderly or frail, you will be expected to walk in the streams and falls and you will get... More

We took our teenage kids to Mayfield Falls and everyone had a great time! The water was a bit cool but once you were in for a while it felt great. Wear water shoes or old runners. The swim through the tunnel was very cool. We even convinced Mom to jump off the tree into the pool! The washer and... More
