"Falls" is a bit of a misnomer -- it's more like serious rapids. What is so cool is that the highly experienced and knowledgeable tour guides will take you UP stream through those rapids. It is not very daunting. I'm 218 and had no trouble. And the Mayfield river water is incredibly cool and refreshing. Afterward, you trek down a... More

Awesome trip into Jamaican forest and waterfall. Loved climbing up the waterfall. Our tour guide was amazing (he called himself 'The Main Event'). He did flips into the natural pools within the waterfall and let us jump into the pools as well. He did many trick and flips and had a lot of contagious positive energy. Much quieter than Dunn's... A bit off the beaten path, so not so crowded. Everything was very natural, the guide was excellent and we had a wonderful time! Instead of ordering the lunch there though, we bought brown stewed chicken from the little cook shack by the parking lot.

The Mayfield Falls was day two of our trip excursions. The day before we did the Dunn River Falls. The Mayfield Falls is owned and operated by a small community. Our guide was so caring and we got to take our time climbing these falls. He was careful to make sure we have the correct footing and ability. Wonderful place... More

This falls is an all natural mineral springs with beautiful blue water and a great climb up some rocks on the falls. The people are fantastic and the ride is nice cause it takes you into the mountains were you see the real Jamaica. The food is excellent, it may not look like much when you get their but the... This is one of attraction I enjoyed the most. it is located in a remote place where you get to see how real Jamaican live. The landscape is amazing and all the way through the falls is so nice. You get also a guide for the tour that knows every single rock and will help you every moment. After here... More

This is a wonderful place to visit. You climb and swim up a series of falls through a mineral based river. Your skin will feel very soft and as a result you must wear water shoes, bring a pair , or crock like sandals to save a 600 j charge. There are change rooms where you start so bring a... More

we took the tour her through the Amstar tour group. From Montego Bay it is about a 2 hour ride mainly through the mountains on some really winding, rough roads (if you get motion sickness I wouldn’t recommend) but the view is beautiful! Once we arrived we were surprised and how few people were there. At Dunn’s river it is... More

So much nicer that Dunns River Falls from the perspective that this is still unspoiled and there are no vendors other than the guy who will sell you photos for $15ea or a full CD of your adventure for $60. The staff were polite, skilled and entertaining and the water was pure heaven.
