An absolutely beautiful spot! This secluded tour of the mineral springs and waterfalls was the highlight of my trip!

Though it was very nice to cool off in this river, it does not contain actual (tall) falls...it is more like a going up a gentle river kind of a trip. You do NOT have to hire a guide at all (you can sign a waver form at the entrance).... it is very short and very easy to do this... More

A group of four went to the falls and had a spectacular time. The attraction was very nice and the tour guide (Calvin) was extremely knowledgeable of the falls and extremely helpful in traversing the attraction. It is still unspoiled by tourism and the entire staff is very nice. I would recommend this over the DunnsRiver attraction.

For a less "touristy" adventure choose Mayfield Falls! A personal tour guide and photographer takes you up the river through various wate rfalls anf dun cliff jumps! It was certainly a highlight of our trip . It costs $15 to take the tour - be sure to wear a bathing suit and bring water shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS or bare... More

Enjoyed Mayfield falls in Jamaica. We took private cab to Mayfield falls and entered from original Mayfield falls side paid $15 entrance fee, got a great guide and spent 2 hours inside the water. It wasn't fabulously scenic but it was relaxing and peaceful.

Our "driver / host" suggested this. It's management is being reorganized so its not on a lot of hotel tour lists. But, it was super fun 45 minute trek up the rapids of the river. it's not like some 30 foot waterfall, just lots of pools and rapids to swim and be submitted to. Our guide Ivorton was super. Take... Sure they'll tell you admission is only $15/person... but then you rent "water shoes" $6/person. Then they give you a guide, who makes it very clear that you're expected to tip him... then they also give you a photographer, who is equipped with a 2004 digital camera.. who makes a disc of photos he will sell you at the end... These falls are certainly not the most impressive or beautyful ones. But the guideds are really fund and make an adventure from this trip. They share their secrets about the river and pull tricks. The most impressive is when they climt 25-30 feet and dive into the water. The falls are located in the jungle, and you can hear the... More

The guide we had was good can't remember his name. When I remember his name I will repost. He was an excellent tour guide as well as very good looking. One more think I asked the guy playing music with the labtop to make me a music cd paid him too. I got home no music on cd. I again... More

Excellent trip walking through the river and small falls on it. Not a trip for those in poor shape. It is about a four mile hike. The shallow water and the falls are unique with beauty all, around. Our guides were very good although solicited tips as if they were not paid at all by the tour. Do not bring a... More
