We took a trip to Mayfield Falls through Jammin Jamiaca Tours (which was absolutely phenomenal -- it was like having a friend who was a local taking you around -- check out their unanimous 5-star reviews on this site). We had a great time. The water was cool and clear, and our guide (Tyroy) was kind and helpful throughout. We... More

This was an awesome adventure for my wife and I. The guides were cool and do not try to rush you through. The falls are secluded and the water is very cold, but you get used to it after being in it. There is some walking involved getting to the water so be prepared. We visited Jamaica 14 ago and... More

First off, it is very cold water lol but that didn't change how me and my husband felt about this place. Loved everything about it! The workers are so helpful and it was so cool how they showed you all the neat tricks in the water that you could do. Our guides were amazing and made sure we were safe... More

This place is at the bottom on a hill. Very rustic. Once you get there, you have to go down more hills to get to the water. There are deep pools here and there for some swimming (water is very cold), the water flows over some rocks to get a nice water massage. It requires a lot of walking over... More

We toured this area in mid October, on a Saturday. We drove from our resort in Negril via private driver, whom we hired via email in advance. I would highly recommend Ashton Pitt. His name was given to me by a regular on Trip Advisor and she couldn't have been more right about how wonderful he is! You can find... More

We enjoyed walking up the river and playing in the "waterfall" pools. Not the BIG waterfalls you would expect, but several small 3 -5 foot ones that you can play it. Wear water shoes and expect cold water. Find Lenny to drive you out there! He is the best Taxi driver in Negril!! He can usually be found around 7... More

The falls were gorgeous with many different things to see and do. The guides were awesome and not to pushy.

We stayed in Montego Bay and decided to embark on the 1-hour trek to Mayfield Falls from our resort, having read that it was less touristy than the more popular Dunn's River Falls. Mayfield Falls is located up in the hills, through narrow, winding roads. Upon arrival, you are assigned a guide, and embark on your "100% wet tour" up... More
