This is definitely not an appropriate venue for children - or for people who are uncomfortable around "herbal substances." Some of the people on the tour (myself included) did not partake but many did (including the guide, it seems) The bar/gift shop area also has a room full of Bob Marley's gold and platinum records, some portraits, awards, and a... Really good experience. The only down side to this attraction is the location, which can't be helped! It took us about 2.5 hours to get there from our resort in montego bay, up the windy mountain roads it was soooo long. By the time we had arrived we were all travel sick and tired. There are locals trying to sell... More

The tour shows you his home and the resting place of both he and his mother. That's it. It is a SUPER long drive up through the mountain on a very bumpy road. Not for young kids as marihuana is sold everywhere and smoked while on the tour.

I was not sure of what to expect, I found the trip both interesting and well planed. We were lucky in our bus driver was local to the area, so the 2 hour drive from the hotel through the hills to 9 mile we learned a lot about the mining and agriculture of that part of Jamaica. There is a... More

I can see how this place can be dissapointing for avarage turists. It's overcrowded, small, you get to see only a small museum, Bob's mausoleum, his mother's mausoleum and his house where he used to live up until he was 13. There's a bar and giftshop. Honestly, if it was not spiritual for me I'd be dissapointed since it's quite... More

Although the drive to Nine miles was very long it was a great opportunity to see other parts of Jamaica other than the beach. We saw how the Jamaican people. Mount Zion was a good experience but nothing spectacular. It was good to learn more about Bob Marley's life

It was a great experience. Do not get me wrong. Just 19 dollars us per person to see the roof top of the home he was birthed in. The little tiny home he grew up in with his mother. A bed and his and his mothers final resting places. Was a bit much. Our guide was lovely. They did an... More

I visited Nine Mile for the first time last month on my vacation and I was utterly disappointed. For one, as a tourist attraction, it would serve the board well if they saw to it that loiterers were not waiting outside to harass the patrons. Two, the tour guide was unprofessional. I did not find him informative nor professional. Three,... More

Nice spot to visit. Our guide in the property was a guy named "Craazy" very funny guy. The property looks like it was in the process of being expanded. We arrived pretty early before the tour buses came. It was very cool to see the final resting place of the legend.

As long time fans of Bob Marley we decided to take an excursion to Nine Mile. The Rasta guide gave and nice presentation on history of Jamaica as well as current status. Ride was quite long and the experience took most of the day but was a beautiful trip through the mountains of Jamaica. Part of trip was lunch at... More
