It is quite a bumpy, curvy ride up to Nine Mile, but a really fun trip. Be prepared to be bombarded by the locals wanting you to buy marijuana from them. I found it to be very funny after reading the sign that said possession of marijuana in Jamaica is a crime. The attraction is very informative for those of... More

First off let me start with the negative reviews I'm reading. This tour is not for people who are not into reggae music, Bob Marley, the Rastafarian lifestyle, marijuana or the Jamaican culture. If you can't appreciate, respect and truly take in what this tour is about then don't bother. If you're looking for some random excursion just because and... More

This a really cheesy tour - the pressure for tips resulted in most people tipping more than the cost $45USF of the tour itself. It's only purpose is cashing in on guilty-feeling tourists. Our tour guide got a minimum of $400 USF in tips, and the driver the same. They act like everyone on the tour is filthy rich, but... More

I went on this trip with my mom a few days ago, and from what I got to experience, it was great. I love Bob Marley so it was such a great opportunity to be able to experience all of that. I only got to experience about half of the trip because while we were in the bar area, I... More

We were visiting Falmouth, Jamaica on our cruise ship and booked a separate private excursion to Nine Miles through Know Jamaica Tours. We were not exactly sure what to expect, but our daughter is a HUGE Bob Marley fan and "demanded" we find a way to get to Nine Miles. First off, Know Jamaica Tours and the tour guide, Javia... More

Was great visiting the birthplace & tomb of Bob Marley. Though, this place is all about 'business' and we expected it to be a little more educational on Bob's life. I was glad I took the opportunity to visit this place, but dissapointed. I really felt the trip was more about 'making money' in stead of keeping the legend alive.... More

Took a trip with private driver up to Nine Mile from Runaway Bay - it took about an hour and a half, great scenery along the way. This is not a trip for young kids or people who take issue with "the herb", as it is a big part of this trip, you will smell it and see it. In... More

Yes I agree with some reviews, this is not for kids, but then why would you take kids here anyway, they wouldn't even know who he was or what he stood for!!!! We loved it from start to finish, I'm a Marley fan and the music was great, the atmosphere is so good, it was nice to see and feel... More

Really interesting ride up to Nine Mile, from Runaway Bay. Great scenery en route. On arrival, immediately offered either spliffs or cake. Short walk up some steps to the entrance, and then a wee bit further up to the site itself. The guide we had was 'Captain Crazy'. Definitely lived up to that name. Bit of a player with the... More
