it's quite a journey to drive up to Nine Mile. Never ending winding roads up in the mountains, but the views are spectacular and give you a feel of the 'real' Jamaica. The Bob Marley Mausoleum is a bit of a tourist trap with pushy salespeople in the gift shops, but if you ignore them it's well worth the visit.... More

What an awful trip from start to finish Let me start by stating that I love Bob Marley's music and wanted to take the opportunity to visit his village and mausoleum whilst in Jamaica. I also appreciate that I am tourist and would seem rich to the locals and therefore expect to be ripped off The organised trip (Nexus tours)... More

We booked a tour to go see 9 mile it was a true Jamaican Rosta in experience!! They warn you must have an open mind when doing this tour they absolutely mean that I highly recommend not eating the cake everything else go nuts! The drive to Nine Miles was long and interesting. The guide, Errol, made it such a fun time that we did not realize we were climbing real high winding mountains. He executed a genuine attitude which showed that he had a passion for what he was doing. As far as the tour itself, I would hope that in the future,... More

The drive up to Nine Miles is incredible, the raasta guide - Captain Crazy - was fun and informative and it was quite moving to see Bob's burial vault. I was a little disappointed though because I expected it to be more of an actual village setting of where Bob grew up. None the less, Bob's house, burial site, mom's... More

To fully understand where Jamaica comes from and how Bob Marley has influenced it I highly recommend to take the trip to Nine Miles. The mausoleums and the climb to mount Zion are impressive. Combined with the stories it makes for an excellent trip.

A long drive along some windy narrow roads took us up in the hills to Nine Miles. On the way there the guide had mentioned that we would be offered marijuana and told us the different ways it could be used. I realise when in Jamaica etc. but I found it a little strange that as we got off the... More

Get to see up close where icon Bob Marleys roots came from. If you want souvenirs bring money. Lots to choose from.

Bob Marley's Mausoleum was a great experience...the guide was funny and knowledgeable...nice bar and souvenir shops...and the trip up the mountains was very nice...entrance price very reasonable at $19.00...I recommend it and would go back again.
