The drive here from Ocho Rios was amazing, and the town itself is too. Liked the tour, and loved being in the area where Bob grew up. Having a chance to go into the mausoleum itself was worth the trip and the money, if nothing else. I hope to get a chance to visit again someday.

I won't bother repeating what everyone else has already said. I think you really enjoy this more if you like Bob Marley. My husband is a huge fan, and really wanted to do the tour. I'm not a big fan, so I only went as it was important to him. We had the opportunity to purchase some local herbage before... More

For anyone looking for a real Jamaican adventure this could be it. After driving a few hours up into the hills on extremely difficult roads you arrive at Nine Mile. The village is a tough and broken down example of the poverty in Jamaica. From the time you arrive until the time that you leave you are confronted with the... More

Nine Mile is a must for your excursions while in Jamaica! Take the journey and venture to the birthplace of Bob Marley - the guides are informative and funny, the band as well as the memorabilia are to be enjoyed. There are gift shops and bars also on site.

So very cool to spend time at Bob Marley's childhood home. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride up the mountain, but it's worth the trip. Our guide was getting stoned as he explained everything to us. Outside of the tour there are guys there trying to sell you a tour of their pot gardens for $20/pp. We said no,... More

This is my 4th trip to Nine Mile to experience not only the love Bob Marley has shared but to experience how local Jamaicans live outside the resort areas. Every time I have been I learn something new and still thoroughly enjoy the educational aspects together with the music and overall 'happy-happy-joy-joy' feelings you get while you are there! I... Wish I could have known Bob Marley-love his music so much. So many mixed feelings on this tour. You will get... More

The visit of Nine Miles itself is not a big deal. It is overall a pretty small place run by some Rastafari showing the small rooms where he lived for a while including a visit of the mausoleums of him and his mother. But after being there you understand some of the songs and his life much better and don’t... More

I felt very emotional whilst there - Bob Marley was my hero whilst growing up - his message and philosophy I feel is still as poignant now as then - Total Resect to him Being able to pay my respects personally at his home and final resting place was a very moving experience. (unfortunately I never got the opportunity to... More
