We really enjoyed going on the tour to Nine Miles where Bob Marley was born and laid to rest. The Zion bus does a nice job of getting you there, the tour was very informative (our tour guide was great) and there was beautiful scenery up and back.

I should have known better going to a Bob Marley museum! I was expected a spiritual experience. Instead it was like being in a miniature Disney world! The guide (Captain Crazy) was off his rocker (I couldn't tell if it was an act or not). You were rushed from place to place and only encouraged to slow down once you... More

We took the Zion Bus Tour from our hotel to Bob Marley's birth and resting place. A totally fun filled day out with great commentary from our tour guide. I agree with others - this is a really spiritual place - you can totally feel all Bob's lyrics when you see where he lived and the amazing views he looked... More

I got to view Bob Marley's grave as well as the house he was raised in until the age of 13 (before he relocated to Kingston). His brother is buried below him; his mother is buried in an adjacent tomb and his grandparents are buried on the property.

This was our first time there. Our tour guide in the bus was very informative and spoke about Rastafarian movement. When we got there it wasn't as packed and as we walked in we were offered shots for $11 in which we could keep the glass. That was a little odd. The tour continued into the compound and we enjoyed... This could be called "Bob Marley Land." In the Disney tradition, everything is cut off from its surroundings with a very artificial feel. It is nice that it gave us an excuse to get away from our all inclusive resort and see some of the interior of the island. The interior is an entirely different world. The trip also offers... More

Two weeks ago I was in Jamaica and went for the tour to Bob Marley's " tomb" in Nine Miles. Bob should be rolling over in that coffin based on what his " family " is doing with his name. Everyone in the compound had a hand out for a tip--in fact they really ignored you until you put money... More

I did enjoy this day trip big time. Pay your respects to Bob Marley. From Ochi to Nine Miles, you will take a bit more than 1h and the road landscape is really worthy to see the Jamaican countryside & beautiful mountains. I highly recommended our driver for the day (we decided to hire for 2 days as he was... More
