Our tour of the plantation grounds and home were part of a Royal Caribbean excursion with Chukka as the local vendor providing a guide and transportation by motor coach. Upon leaving Falmouth we got to see the quite a bit of rural Jamaica while we received "lessons" on how to speak Jamaican. Our guide Lydia kept things lively an pointed... More

We spent the day doing the ATVs, ZipLines, River Tubing, touring and rum tasting. Absolutely awesome day and the people were so friendly and funny!!! We would definitely be booking this tour again!! They made us feel like we were the only important people there for the day!

My family of 5 spent the day here and had a great time. The staff was very welcoming and helpful on all our adventures for the day. We did the zipline, obstacle course, horse carriage ride, and river tubing. Everything was fun, safe, and done well. To save money bring your own closed toe water shoes (otherwise they make you... We decided to take just the basic tour of the Good Hope Estates from our Disney Cruise ship and were not disappointed. The tour was very well organized and the bus driver from the port to the estates was great. The trip only took about 20 to 25 minutes on the bus but the driver provided a bunch of information... We took the "Cultural Explorer" excursion with our Royal Caribbean cruise and just loved it. Our tour guide Sabrina was very knowledgeable and was a lovely young woman. Danny was our guide on the (short) carriage ride and was so pleasant and also very knowledgeable. We got jerk chicken and pork which were delicious! Our bus driver from the terminal... More

If you like to know the history of places this will be a good tour for you. They show you a large part of the plantation, and give you samples of sugar cane and oranges that they grow on there now. Plus there are some amazing views. Also, you need to try the Blue Mountain coffee.

This is a fascinating journey back to the "golden age" of colonialism which, by the looks of things, was the heyday for most Caribbean islands. The grounds are beautiful and the house is well preserved. Our guide was excellent and friendly.

Beautiful old home on the Good Hope Plantation. In need of upkeep but worth the trip for the history of beauty of what it used to be.

The good hope estate was one of our families favorites. You have to take a tour of one of the most preserved plantation homes In all of Jamaica. It was built in the mid 1700's and much of the building is original. The house and estate are great, but the views of Jamaica's landscape from the estate are incredible! The... More

My wife and I went on a tour and high tea excursion to Good Hope. The plantation is beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the plantation, all of its owners, the construction, furniture and everything about the area. She also was able to discuss Jamaica's economy and how the crops grown on the plantation fit in... More
