First of all let me start by stating that we were on an excursion from a cruise ship that had docked nearby. The overview on the excursion promised zip lining, water rafting and a tour of the plantation. Let me commend all of the guides from the funniest bus driver to the zip line and water guides for being friendly,... More

This was a relaxing tour of a former sugar plantation overlooking a beautiful mountain view. The 'Jerk' chicken lunch was just the thing to complete this tour. My husband, myself and my father enjoyed this tour while our children did a Zip line tour. The bus driver who drove us to and from the cruise terminal was informative in regards... More

I visited Good Hope Great House on December 18 on a cruise ship excursion from Holland America. The road from Ocho Rios is very beautiful with views of various river flows, villages, goats, and towns. The road is very good until Falstaff, when it turns into what feels like a Jeep route in the Rockies. Beware if you have significant... More

We have just visited the Good Hope plantation this December 2014 booked through Chukka the Ultimate Thrill Seekers Adventure for $131/person. What a Joke! I am so disappointed in this place - It may offer a lot of adventures but the main reason we went was for the dunebuggy and zipling and that was for 12 year olds. First off... More

We did the High Tea at the Good Hope House excursion as part of a recent Caribbean cruise and it was extremely well managed and operated by Chukka. One VERY impressive thing that Chukka did was to send an additional van to escort one couple that could not fit on our tour bus. Instead of squeezing them into the bus,... More

Visited as part of a group, we arrived late in the afternoon, and only had time for the zip line and rope course, which was great fun. Would of loved to do the river tubing, but had just run out of time. Only comment is at times, everything can seem a little disorganized, especially when your traveling on a time... More

Did this tour as Falmouth was just too tidy and touristy for my taste, I only had time for a tour of the manor house which was conducted by a very knowledgeable young lady who made the visit really interesting with her knowledge not only of the house but also the surrounding environment. I have vowed to return here and... More

During our recent Royal Caribbean Cruise, we disembarked at Falmouth Jamaica to take the cruise-sponsored excursion to the Good Hope Plantation, located about 15 miles inland in the mountains. The tour included a horse and buggy ride to the old sugar cane processing mill, a tour of the fantastic Good Hope Plantation manor house (where parts of "When Stella Got... More

We took the walking and bus tour only, the highlight of the tour was seeing the Great House and grounds. The view from the Great House is not to be missed!
