My son's one request for our trip was zip lining. Since I was absolutely not interested I looked for a package tour that included zip and more. This was the perfect pick!!! The plantation was just amazing. Our party included myself, my sister and 3 teen boys. We are in love! First we did the tubing and loved it, we... More

This was a Georgian style mansion up on top of a hill that played a part in Jamaican history. It's variety of owner's use of slaves and later in history for the owner's emancipation of his slaves. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and articulate about the history of the house and it's furnishings. The grounds are beautiful and well... More

My husband and I are visiting Jamaica for the second time but this is our first time using Chukka Tours and our first time visiting the Good Hope Plantation. Our day started out promising. I booked the Cultural Experience, which boasted a tour of the great house, a rum tasting, a carriage ride an aviary and more. My husband paid... More

The original excursion we had purchased was not available, so the good folks at Chukka Adventures inquired if we'd like to change our excursion to the Ultimate Thrill Seekers package on a different day. I was somewhat skeptical we'd have fun since my wife doesn't care for heights and this package included: Zip Lines, Dune Buggy's, ATVs, Rum tasting, River... More

This plantation is part of the Chukka Adventures which makes the visit a bit confusing in the way of an identity crisis. The plantation is the historical side of it but the rest of the ground is set up for atv's, ripcord lines, obstacle type courses, etc. There is an aviary that is probably the worst I have ever seen. The... More

An excursion from the Royal Caribbean cruise i took. We took a bus to the welcome center. It was a very narrow curvy road and every time we came to a curve the driver honked his horn. Look out here we come!. At the welcome center we were served a light lunch of jerk chicken , greens and some kind... More

I was in a group of 26 and the staff at the front desk was so confused about making sure we had our water shoes and locks for the lockers then they weren't clear about the dune buggies and atv's we waited for over an hour the use the atv/buggies we told the staff that we had to leave at... More

My family of three reserved a tour to the Good Hope Plantation through the Royal Caribbean cruise we were on. Our adult daughter whom was traveling with us is a historian, so we were very interested in this excursion. We met up with our tour group at the far end of the port area (look for the white tents). The... More

My mom and I did a guided tour of the house and grounds through our cruise ship in May. We boarded a tour bus inside the enclosed port area at Falmouth and traveled about 20 minutes to the estate. The drive there was interesting -- we saw a few villages, sugar cane fields, banana trees, bamboo, etc -- and the... More

Wow. This place had it all. The house was stunning. The tour guide was passionate about it and that made the experience more enjoyable. The slave quarters and auction house were moving and the history fascinating. Check out the water wheel. There are all sorts of action adventure tours available within the grounds. You couldn't do everything in one day.
