Black River is a fascinating place to tour by boat, the tour guide was very animated and knew his stuff. The river itself is varied and beautiful with mangrove swamps, grassy areas and an interesting place where two rivers meet. Recommended.

The black river was surreal, the crocodiles were beautiful! I saw them with a book excursion. I was able to hold a crocodile and they were beautiful.

Jamaican tour to Black River and YS Falls Tour First, OMG the ride from Montego Bay to Black River includes 25 miles of the windiest and bumpiest rood ever. The road to Hana is nothing next to this stretch of road. Bring lots of dramamine. With that said it was fun and great to see the smaller towns in this... More

This tour was amazing, and we had the best guide ever! Although the crocs didn't seem like they wanted to play, we got to see quite a few of them. The wind blowing in your face, the plants, the birds, it all makes it worth the time. It was a beautiful tour and very relaxing, it's a definite must do.... More

We did this tour because our tour guide offered it for free when visiting 2 other nearby places. We has low expectation of what to expect. Surprisingly, the tour was a lot of fun. The crocodiles were fun to watch, the scenery beautiful, and overall it was an enjoyable and relaxing ride. We're very pleased we went on this short... More

This trip was very relaxing despite the fact we saw a number of crocodiles and many different types of bird. The guide was very informative, clearly knew his stuff and additionally was able to coax crocs to the side of the boat to show us their teeth. What a beautiful part if the country that I didn't expect.

This was a nice tour and our tour guide made it interesting. We saw lots of alligators that were lured to the boat by our guide feeding them chicken. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The guide explained alot of the plants and wild life, and showed us that the water is not dirty it was the peat moss in... More

I had friends take us to the river to swim. This was fresh mountain water that was cool and refreshing. Families were there swimming and cooking out. There was a rope swing a bridge that you could jump from. This was a nice quiet remote area. The scenery was beautiful. A little difficult to travel to. The roads were narrow.... More
