It's nice

Well it's nice. Safe for families. Toilets and food outlets available but not my favourite place in the Caribbean.

Strong currents thus not an ideal spot for beach. If you want to relax and listen to the waves, this is good But if you want to venture into the water there are much better and safer option

Wild and wind swept. There is a lovely spot that is sheltered for swimming . Toilets and showers available plus some shacks selling food plus there is Aggies Resturant for a grata lunch in the shade.

eventually found the beach after asking a few local people in the neighbourhood. Worth the drive down with a jeep. A max of 4 people were there already but maybe about 15-20 in total were on the beach by the time we were leaving a few hours after. One or two places to eat and drink on the beach if... More

Bathway is a lovely beach, it's not your typical Caribbean beach due to it being more Atlantic than Carib Sea. it has a natural rock bar which creates a really nice natural swimming pool area. We walked the beach daily (it's not easy as the sand sinks fairly deeply) and had a rewarding swim thereafter. We counted a max of... More

This beach is not close to the touristy areas and feels like an untouched beauty. The water is wavy and turquoise blue and there is plenty of space to lay out on the beach. In the distance, it reminds you of Ireland on one side. However, on the other, you will swear you are in St. Lucia with the pitons.... More

This is a lovely long beach to walk but beware, as it's been said before the sand gets very hot! It is quite hard to walk along in parts as the sand is so soft we were sometimes sinking to our ankles. It was a lovely walk on a beautiful day and so peaceful. Visit Aggies Bar & Restaurant before... More

Nice local beach, wear sandles as the sand is very hot. The beach has a reef just off shore so the water is nice & shallow.

If you come to this side of the island I would definitely visit this beach and the one adjacent to Sugar Loaf island. They are very close and you will have a little more privacy especially if you are a couple.
