The Spice Basket put on a dinner theatre production called "A Slice of Spice," which was a journey through time to discover Grenadian heritage. The cultural presentation is told through dance, music and drama. We enjoyed the show and the delicious buffet featuring many local dishes. The theatre itself is quite new and spectacular. The sets were excellent and the... More

We went with local friends to the spice Basket one night - if one of the boys hadn't felt sick, I think it could've been a real fun night. A local band for awhile, everyone dancing, then the canned tunes came on - open air, lots of big tables and room, good drinks. Everyone local seems to appear to check... More

After reading all the ++++positive reviews I am wondering were we at the same place? It was a nice venue, but the only food available when we visited was fast food chicken, fries and ice cream. The drinks were nothing special in MHO. We did see a show which was nice. But, I would suggest you call to find out what... More

I cannot recommend enough this restaurant - their drink selection (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) was phenomenal!! Fruity drinks, creamy drinks, all types of tropical drinks which are Spice Basket creations. I ordered the Jerk broiled fish (though I believe they gave me the Honey Mustard fish, which still was delicious), pasta salad, and plaintains. Mmmmmmmmmm! The food was tasty and... More

The Spice Basket, some 20 minutes drive is a missed marketing opportunity essentially relying on cruise ship visitors and the fews longer stay tourists who either hire a car or use taxis. The volume of traffic cannot in any way cover the costs of maintaining this facility during the day. The Spice Shop, by far the most comprehensive that we... More

We enjoyed our evening (Tuesday night) when they have a buffet dinner and a show about the history and culture of Grenada. The buffet had great selection. They also had a rum tasting, endless wine with dinner and during the show, and a Grenada chocolate tasting (all free). The show included singing, dancing and a short film. Before the dinner,... More

we stopped on one of our day trips to the rain forest, the staff went out of their way to open the museum for us which gave us a great outlook on the island and the history, we where very impressed with the organization and the information in the museum.
