Worth a look but do not allocate more than 1 hour as you will be disappointed. There was not much to see in St George's town.

Did a Saturday Market tour and found it was a typical organized market, not so quaint as advertised but if you are a smart shopper deals can be found. Further away from the Cruise ship the lower prices go. Good place just outside the main building is Booth 14 run my Norma, decent quality spice gifts at fair prices.....but always... More

If in the market to buy spices, this is the right place, but beware some are not real ! Our guide warned us not to buy any powered spices ! This is an interesting area to look around .

Interesting and a place you should visit if in Grenada. I liked that it put you in with the towns people. I didn't like how pushy some can be.

You can purchase some of the best spices in the world almost anywhere in this market. Must have at least 50 shops selling varieties of arts, crafts and mostly spices. The shop owners are extremely friendly, especially to Americans and they are quick to express gratitude for US invasion a few decades ago. In the words of one shop owner:... More

We always enjoy visiting local markets when we travel and this was a nice one to see. But do not buy the cinnamon from the venders. The grocery store across the street has good cinnamon. The venders sell stuff that would make good kindling. But we still enjoyed the visit and the vendors were not at all pushy. You could... More

Get a guide at the mall entrance to walk you about and inform you on the history of the town, 'General' Roger was ours and he was perfect!

Go to market on saturday mornings to buy spices and fresh local fruits and veg. Nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, enjoy the flavour, the smell and the friendly sellers. Stroll to the fish and meat markets for a real caribbean experience.

We were there during a weekday and not on the normally crazy Friday-Saturday markets so there weren't a whole lot of stalls open for business. They are in the process of renovating the area and so I'm sure once it's complete it will be great. The prices on spices there are pretty good though.

Fun spot to visit, and much improved, with a greater sense of order to the market. Good place to buy spices.
