If you want some great photos of Grenada this is the place to go. Its an old fort, seen one seen them all. However the view of the city and cruise ships is great. its not far from the cruise ship terminal so do not pay to go for a tour. Simply get off the ship, go through the mall,... More

Nice fort with wonderful views of the island. This was a stop on our day excursion from our cruise. Great way to get an overview of the island.

Nice views of the harbour and the prison, which our guide, Alice, provided loads of information on. No historical weaponry at the fort and the fact that it is now an antenna site detracts a little too.

Visited mid September as part of a tour. Greeted by Alice who although very pleasant didn't tell us much except that to the left was The Atlantic and the view to the right was The Caribbean Sea. Apart from that information we learned nothing more. Don't waste the time. Not expensive but of course the craft sellers were there. !!!!

This is a true vantage point of Grenada. From this fort you can get a true panoramic view of Grenada. The best time to visit is just before sunset so you can get the picturesque view of the city and the great sunset. You have access to tunnels used by the French during the way against the British. They link... More

It's a quick tour to see the cannons. Entrance cost US$2 per person but the guide asked for a small tip of US $20. LOL

We went on the fortress in a hope to see and learn something historical, but here you'll be disappointed. You learn nothing about the history of this fortress, and it's really nothing special to see. Except that, you have a quite nice view over Grenada if the weather is good. You pay in fact a entrance fee for a nice... More

To reach the fortress you may follow your eyes more than the street signs. There is a 2 US$ entrance fee. You get offered a beautiful view over the island of Grenada but more there isn't really to do. If you are lucky, the local security man strolls around and will show you some details of the fortress. There's a... More

It was only $5.34 EC each to have a tour of the fort. The fort itself isn't much to write home about. It's no exactly Windsor Castle! However, the views across the area are absolutely stunning and should not be missed by anyone in the area with a half decent camera to hand.

Visited on the 30th anniversary of American invasion. Shown round by a person who was there on the day throwing herself off the wall to escape death breaking her ankle whilst so doing. Bullets in the wall where Maurice Bishop was shot....his body has never been found. Went to the Spice Basket to see a play written by a local,... More
