Stopped of here as recommended by a friend and wasn't dissapointed. the gardens up to the falls were beautiful and the falls were great. Locals were jumping from the top of the fall into the pool below and asked for a small tip for capturing a picture which i duly obliged and got some great pictures

Annandale is a quaint village in your way from St. George's to Grand Etang. Buses # 6 and 7 will take you there at a cost of EC $ 2.50 one way. I love walking the streets of Annandale, admiring the colourful houses and the flowers. The garden and the waterfalls are well tended, it's a small paradise for kids... More

Final approach road has no sign (of course it doesn't) but it did have toilet facilities. There were vendors selling various 'spices' (why do they think we don't have spices)? A man was there asking us to make a "generous contribution" to his collecting box which was for him. When we laughed he said it was how he made his... More

A short walk on a path led to a small waterfall. For tips, locals jumped from an area at the top of the falls into water pooled at the base of the falls. Visitors swam and, further upstream, walked among big rocks. Another short easy path led through lush rain forest vegetation. Unless you swim, it’s a quick stop and... More

Our group started walking down the trail and were greeted by a woman with a basket on her head. She wanted a tip if you took her photo. Then there was the man with his monkey. Not sure what he was doing as we rushed by him. Next was the singing man who called each tourist by a celebrity's name.... More

Not saying I wouldn't go- but the falls are not very large and you will have upwards of five people asking you to tip them- from the ladies with the baskets on their heads that want you to take their picture, to the funny man who makes up songs about you while you walk to the falls, to the five... A pleasant visit. The calypso singer on hand thought that the men looked like George and Tom but probably he sings that to everyone. Amusing nevertheless. Three locals were on hand to climb up to a ledge and then jump in to the pool, they reckoned that $10 was the going rate, we disagreed.

Went with a group of alumni from SGU on a reunion trip. Got awesome videos of us jumping off the ledge into the water. Its not much of a hiking trek if thats what you're looking for. Just a scenic shot and a nice fresh water pond to swim in.

We were unable to find on our first attempt (didn't see any signs on main road) however tried for a second time and after asking a couple of locals we found the place. We arrived early morning and had a lovely hour or so in the area with no one else there. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting with... More
