we went to the east end. you can drive just about right up to your spot. Cold beer and drinks for a couple pesos (not gouging). Chairs for 150 pesos (a few bucks). Fresh fish and chicken for lunch on the beach. Ok snorkeling (clear but few fish). Great calm water. Felt very safe, even with 2 kids (6 and... More

Stunning long stretch of white sand beach and aqua water. You feel like you are in a movie or Survivor. There are very few vendors there and just as few people. Try a coco loco - yummy! The cold mountain stream is just as beautiful to visit and take pictures of.

One of the most lovely beaches I´ve seen. It´s a National park and there are no hotelcomplexes or disturbing activities. Clean and serene.

I definitely liked the aquamarine freshwater creek at the west end. There is a lovely little beach there for bathing, or you can take a barque upriver with one of the locals, and stop to bathe at a little beach inland too. We walked the whole length of Rincon, done easily in an hour, but the middle part wasn't so... More

If you have ever dreamed to see a beach where you are practically by yourself, miles long, with a small river besides, millions of coconut trees and dominican style fried fish right at the beach, then you have arrived to the perfect place. This beach has a particularity: one side is wavy and the other side quite as a lake.... More

If you like beaches and swimming then this is a place to visit. Very beautiful sea; in one end by the small stream more locals. The other end with small food stalls is more tourists, sea is also calmet there and better for swimming. Worth a visit if beach is your theme. No other attractions. Accessible by car or roller... We went on the Safari tour which included the marble mine, a farm, and then on to beautiful Rincon beach for the afternoon. The beach is a few kilometres long and we were dropped off at the far end. The water is gorgeous shades of blue and great for swimming at that end as it's very calm. Beach is a... More

The beach was beautiful. Great for swimming. When we were there, it wasn't very crowded at all. There are venders on the beach who will try to sell to you, but will leave you alone once you have said no. Be sure to walk to the right side of the beach past the small bar. The beach on that side... More

There are other beaches that are better for swimming. The water is a bit more hazy than other beaches like Cayo Levantado. You're not going to be to see anything while snorkelling so don't bother to get the gear. The rocks about 10 feet out in the water make it tricky to go to and from the swimming parts of... More
