A fairly long boat trip across the bay to the park. The islands are beautiful and we saw many pelicans and frigate birds. A beautiful though short trip through the islands. The caves and mangroves are also interesting and we spent more time there. On the way back we even passed some dolphins. Lovely. Our trip ended on Bacardi Island... More

To Start things off this trip was breathtaking. We got picked up from our resort in Las Terranas at around 8 in the morn and it took roughly an hour to get to where the boat was in which we would spend our day. During the hour long drive you get to go through a few town and see lots... More

The tour got off to a slow start, but once we got to all the little islands it was pretty cool. Staff were taking pics, pouring drinks and were all super friendly. Our guide, Hachi, was warm and his English was excellent. We never had a hard time hearing any of the stories he told. We thought it was just... More

It's a 1 hour bus trip from Las Terrenas and 1 hour boat ride from Samana. Our boat broke down 15 mins from Samana and had to wait for another and transfer boats to complete the trip.... Another hour wasted. They give you rum and some fruit on boat trip there and trip back, ...pack water as you get nothing... More

Definitely try a tour here - accessible only by boat, it's worth the short ride from a nearby port. And great for eco-lovers! Perfect beaches, cool caves with ancient cave drawings. Very cool

We're had an awesome tour guide! He spoke English, Spanish, French and German. What I did not like was that for each of these groups he would interpret for them,! This doubled the time we would stand in one spot, and the mosquitos were hungry!

we booked through westjet for this trip. It was a decent trip but not one I would do again or highly recommend. I felt like the boat ride took up too much time (45min both ways). You go to see some little islands on the boat with lots of birds but I wasn't awed. (I've been to hundred islands in... More

Loved the unspoiled landscape and the beautiful scenery. We could have done without the Cayo Levatano visit on this excursion.

The tour wasn't the best - we have been on many tours - as well we went on a Cabana cruise in the Domincan to Sauna Isle - and it was amazing view. But on this the boat was very old and the tour guide wasnt' that personable. The view of the Bird Island was amazing - and the mongrols... More
