Punta Espada Golf Course is already listed among the worlds finest, with the renowned GolfWeek ranking it as the best golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico. Eight holes play along and over the sea. From all points of Punta Espada, golfers are blessed with extraordinary views of the Caribbean, where the sea contrasts against the emerald fairways and the perfect greens. Challenging stroke play and beauty are entwined in this outstanding par 72 course, which hosted the inaugural PGA Tour’s Champions Tour in April 2008 - The Cap Cana Championship. The annual tournament is televised internationally through the Golf Channel and its license-holding subsidiaries.

This is a very nice golf course; but it is over priced, the management is not very friendly and if it doesn't work out deals with the local hotels, they will find themselves all alone with what could be their business going elsewhere. Most of us avid golfers travel with family and though in my mind the golf is the... More

The course was amazing with wonderful views of the ocean on almost every hole. We had an amazing caddy which was part of the green fees. If you never played with a caddy you are in for a real treat. The club house offers a very lunch lunch and the shop had a huge selection. The only downside was the... More

It's by far the most expensive round of golf I've ever played but it's also the most memorable round because of the experience. An unbelievably beautiful course that even the pictures don't fully convey. Though very challenging and much above the skill of myself and my two duffer companions, we still agreed it was nevertheless worth submitting ourselves to the... More

Imagine the perfect weather (sunny but with wind), 8 holes so close to the sea that you could jump in it and a quality of fairways, greens, course design that you could find in PGA tour! You are not dreaming, you have just played a round in the best golf course ever! Only "little" problem is green fee price but... More

If you love to play golf, you cannot pass up playing this track. Yes, it's not cheap but it's worth it. The course was in great shape and very playable. It's an intimidating looking course at first but the fairways are wide and the greens roll perfectly. The practice area is top notch and caddies are required - he was... More

This is a very pricey, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course in Cap Cana. Our Matron of Honor and her husband treated us to a round of golf during our honeymoon after getting married in Punta Cana, What a great wedding present, and they came along to enjoy it with us (he played, she rode). Not a blade of grass out... More

The golf course is beautiful. the scenery impossible to match. We went over to play from the Eden Roc hotel and paid a lot of money to receive a not perfect service. We had a bit opf a bad experience with one of the staff members there, but will not go into details.

If you are trying to decide whether or not to play this course: DO IT!! We played 18 holes in early February. The weather was perfect and the course matched. I have been fortunate enough to play numerous top rated courses and this one is at the top of my list! There is an ocean view from every hole (sometimes... More

Went to the Hard Rock Resort for several days and heard the reviews of Punta Espada and had to try it. I was a single since the other husbands in our large group elected to stay on property. To begin, the course is located in a gated region near Punta Cana called Cap Cana. It is absolutely beautiful and approximately... More

Third time I played here and cannot wait to return next year. Gorgeous course. I am a 28 handicap, female golfer, and although challenging for me, this was eminently playable from forward tees. Husband liked it a lot, too (22 handicap). Beautiful clubhouse and our caddie, Raphael, was outstanding. Highly recommend.
