The manager Edwardo is just out for $. We paid $195 for my daughter to get the top experience and i paid $35 for an accompany pass. they won't let you close to the area to take pictures. When we got back, we were ready to purchase their picture package for $50 and the camera malfunctioned and we lost the... More

While on our vacation in Punta Cana we wanted to take our kids to swim with the dolphins. We were picked up at our resort and had a short drive to Dolphin Island. When we got there, we were separated into groups and watched a short video before being taken out to the dolphins. When we got out to the... More

My daughters, ages 19 and 14, made this excursion on Monday, July 21, 2015. We loved every minute of it. The bus picked up promptly from our hotel and we proceeded to the park. Once we got to the park we were led to the check in and boarded a boat to the enclosures to visit with the sea lions... More

Salesmen by the main pool in Melia Tropical Resort sold our family a package for 9 at $95 USD per person for a total of $855. It should be noted that when calculating, he also tried to add in a random $20 so he could pocket some cash, but he was quickly called out. After paying in cash, we received... More

We arrived and waited at least 45 minutes to be taken out... after that we were told (in Spanish because no one spoke English) that the dolphins weren't ready. After taking my 4 year old in with the dolphins for about 15 minutes, we were again waiting for the boat to leave (older kids and adults that were tall enough... More

What a blast. Literally in there with the dolphins you will be kissed, flapped and get to rid on them. In another pool there were sharks, manta rays and other assorted fish to swim with. Then that jet boat. Mother of all things holy! I have never been in a speedboat that was a submersible! Much fun!

If you are over 10 years old, , forget it. We paid USD$150 each for our two small children to "swim with the dolphins" We ended up spending USD$450 (USD$70 for their mother and I to stand some 40 meters away (to observe or avoid our taking our own pictures) and USD$75 for a CD of pictures. we could not... The only negative thing about this excursion was the transportation to get there. A driver from manati park was insistent upon taking us saying he would take us to the dolphin island launch area but we know that employees of manati park get paid to bring people there that were supposed to be on a different excursion so we knew... This tour was a GREAT time. The jet boat was amazing, swimming with the sharks was thrilling, and the dolphins were so awesome! The only reason I did not give this tour 5 stars was because of the staff. Our bus driver was, by far, one of my favorite people that we met on vacation... but the staff at Dolphin... More

The trip costs 125 USD per person. You have to be aware that you are in water with dolphins for less than 20 minutes. The dolphins are not interested and in our case dolphin (Tony) didn't want to cooperate with trainers, so we were waiting very long for something to happen. Diving with manta rays and sharks is nothing special.... More
