WATCH OUT!!! if you leave from vancouver/edmonton, be sure NOT to take the flight from vancouver to santo domingo (instead of going straight to Punta Cana). The site says it takes 30 min, but it actually takes 4 hours!!! imagine a 11 hour flight (stopping over at Edmonton sure takes a long time), and THEN a 4 hour bus ride.... more

While reading trip advisor, I started to worry about the cleanliness of the resort. There are no worries about that. We found that the rooms are dated, but very clean. The beach is beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend that you study some common phrases before you go. The staff does not comprehend very much English.... more
